why did you watch it a second time? My friend and I are trying to watch all the Best Picture nominated movies before The Oscars on the 28th. She hadn't seen it yet, so we watched it together. I was also curious if I would like it more on a second viewing. The Martian - 2nd time seeing it, still no idea why it was nominated for an Oscar. I mean it's a decent film and I did enjoy it, but really? I haven't read the book, but I want to. Bridge of Spies - I really enjoyed this one. I didn't realize it was directed by Spielberg and written by the Coen Brothers either. I saw the Martian for the first time in theatre, and I loved it. After, I read the book, which was a bit different, and I liked it a bit more perhaps than the movie. Then I watched the movie again, but I started missing stuff from the book, so I don't think you'll like the movie more after reading the book. Yeah, I expected the book to be better. The concept is interesting.

Spectre. Boring story. Waltz' roll was too small. Yes and they didn't utilize him very well. Talk about a wasted opportunity

The Lego Movie is going through its 13th or something playing here in my house, I can watch it over and over and it never gets old. Really its my kid who's watching it, but I don't mind, its such a cool movie. Thank god my kids isn't obsessed with Shrek or some garbage like that, I think I would lose my mind.

Upstream Color - Quite the opposite of Shane Carruth's quantum-mechanical-theory-of-time-travel shell game, Primer.

But I read that Waltz won't do another bond movie because he thought it sucked donkey balls

Deadpool - brilliant fun, great movie, whole theatre couldn't control their laughter at times... myself included. One line is still making me and son giggle when we say it. :)

After the second viewing, I can't say that I enjoyed it nearly as much as I enjoyed Primer.

The Revenant It was really good, but I'm not sure if it was "Best Film Oscar" good. Leo was good, but I felt that Tom Hardy stole the show. He should have the Best Supporting Actor Oscar more than Leo should have the Best Actor one.

Creed. Good movie.
The Last Of The Mohicans. It had been a while since I've seen this one, and I remembered it being a great film, but it hasn't really aged that well imo.

I sat through TomorrowLand last night and I have to say I was really pleased. Its like a Walt Disney version of Terminator! Lots of cops get killed, Nukes, and end of the world type of stuff. Really cool movie. Cute and funny jokes, lots of cyborg destruction and many sceens mirror classic sceens from Back to the Future and Terminator. I would watch it again no problem. Groge Colony was a bit of an asshole which was a nice change. Visually, it was amazing. I give it 8.5 out of 10 for a regular film and 10 out of 10 for a Disney film. A must see if your into familly friendly (and some times violent) Sci-Fi fun.
