I thought Tomorrowland was a lot of cool ideas and visuals that ended up going nowhere interesting.

Really ? Fuck I turned it off early on because it went on so slow, I'll give it another try I thought the same thing when my wife put it on, I was here on the boards fucking around, and before I knew it, I kept looking up from my phone and then put my phone to the side without realizing it. Give it another go, it gets better after about the 25 minute mark.

Holy shit. Deadpool was amazing. Is it über bloody and violent? I read that a bunch of dumb parents are taking their kids to see it and are freaking out, they thought they were going to see something like Spiderman.

Yeah it's very violent. But even more so for crude humor and language. Definitely not a kids movie. I am really hoping that this opens up the genre for R rated superhero movies. I had a blast while watching this.

Creed - Finally got to see it. I love Rocky (I, II and VI especially) so I was really looking forward to it, and...I thought it was great! I loved it.

Terminator Genesis - what were they thinking? Alternate time line was great then it went to shit.
How hard is it? I mean really? It's like screwing up mashed potatoes...

The Final Girls
To me, this was way better than Cabin in the Woods.

Speaking of Cabin in the Woods like films, have you guys seen Tucker and Dale vs. Evil??

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - Very good. Looking forward to The Nice Guys. From the trailer it looks even more entertaining than KKBB.
Ravenous - Weird film, but I liked it. It's like 75% horror/thriller and 25% comedy. It managed to mix comedy and horror pretty well.
Bone Tomahawk - Pretty good. A bit too much walking for me, but the ending was worth the wait... So brutal.

Speaking of Cabin in the Woods like films, have you guys seen Tucker and Dale vs. Evil?? I've seen both, and personally preferred Cabin. Tucker and Dale's hilarious too, but the kids in that movie really got on my nerves. I know that that's the point, but for some reason I just thought they laid the stupidity on a bit too heavy. In Cabin, the kids are still pretty dumb but still act kind of like real people. Both movies are great times though. Never heard of The Final Girls; looks interesting though.

Is it annoying, the way it's filmed? Somewhat. I really liked the ending, though, since I completely forgot how the real story it's kinda sorta based on ended.

Yeah thought so. Is it as appalling as they say ? No. The way it's filmed makes it so it's much more sonic than visual, which I guess if your imagination is humping the back of your skull it might be rough; but since the internet has completely ruined my innocence I didn't find it overly hard to watch. There's a scene involving a pit that the Nazis had a fondness for using in their own way that is probably the most visually disturbing.
