I began to watch Bone Tomahawk yesterday, it started off really well but the next 30 min literately nothing happened so I had to turn it off. I'll give it another go later when I'm not dying

Just watched What We Do In The Shadows, it was ok but after all the praise it has been getting I expected it to be funnier. I was the whole way through. 100% my sense of humour.

I saw Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - It was good. I'd give it a 3/5. I think it had the right amount of humor, romance, and action. Now I need to read the book, lol.

Saw the Revenant yesterday, it was a beautiful and well shot movie. Other than that I don't really know what to think of it. Other than it was damn long

I watched Inside Out with the wife and kids last night. It was about as depressing as a kids movie can get and the overall message was a little unclear. It was still fun and had some great moments but then those moments where overtaken by more sadness and doom. A bit much for the kids under five, best for anxiety filled preteens. It was worth watching, conceptually, it was fresh and original. Destroys that frozen piece of shit called... Frozen any day.
Anyone watched Maggie? The Arnold movie where his girl is turning into a Zombie, its on Netflix now and I want to check it out unless its a total waste of time.

The firet ten minutes of Up have to be the most deppresing moments ever put on the screen, its Up there with Schindlers List.
Inside Out was close, I guess it depends on who you are, I'm sure it would give Kotowboy a good laugh.

What the Hell is that Alan? Looks like Hunger Games or something. Super with Rainn Wilson. Well worth checking out. A VERY dark 'superhero' movie.

What the Hell is that Alan? Looks like Hunger Games or something. One of the only movies, if not the only movie, that has significantly affected my state of mind whilst watching it.

Ah yes, Kick Ass. Microwave part was great, the sequal kind of sucked, but the first one was great. One of the few movies where Nick Cage was deep and interesting. Hit Girl is Amazing. But again, one of those movies that got ruined by the second one.
Oh wait, that's not Kick Ass. I can't stand Ellen Page, only movie of hers I liked was Hard Candy.

It's Kick Ass for adults. It is very violent, and the most perfect marriage of comedy and tragedy I have ever seen.

I saw that one, don't remember much of it. But yeah, I remember it being violent. Ever see Blankman? Haha what a piece of crap that one was.

The Revenant. I loved it. Great film, touching story, beautiful visuals, the music was great, and very good performances.
Although, I've read about this being the Oscar-worthy performance of DiCaprio, I think if he had better competition, he wouldn't win. But he probably will.

I find his performances in both Wolf of wall street and Django to be much much better.

I find his performances in both Wolf of wall street and Django to be much much better. I think I agree. He didn't have a very versatile role. He portrayed it perfectly of being in agony and such, but that's where it kinda stopped.

It was very samey and although every movie doesn't need a complicated plot, it was just a little too straightforward. I don't think Leo could have done much different with his part though.

I'm surprised he never got one for The Basketball Diaries or What's Eating Gilbert Grape. Of all his movies I think these two are his strongest preformances.
