If I had a copy of the actual thing in my hands, I'd keep so fucking quiet about it. Nintendo has narrowed down the Zelda artbook leaker to 4 Discord users and have sent their lawyers after them. I don't know how they figured it out, but it can't be that hard. If some kid decides to be the first to leak it so he can feel cool, it may ruin his life.

Yeah this dude has been way too vocal, and just said he couldn't find a disc drive anyway. I'm sure there's dozens of other people out there with ripped CDs anyway by now, probably sharing on private Drives. Just a matter of time before it hits the public.

After reading the James interview, I concluded:
- Nice insight into Inamorata's subject matter; it was not what I thought it was going to be.
- This album seems to be more voice-oriented than riff-driven.
- No, James, you should still give your opinion on Lars' drumming and suggest things.
- Some of Stefan's question are really interesting, well thought-out; but some make me cringe by how he beats around the bush and walks on egg-shells.
- I was expecting more music-related questions.
- Lux Aeterna was a better album title.

Be on high alert guys. Metallica YouTube seems to be ready and armed to pull the trigger for the full album. If it leaks, the theatre has all the extra stuff to make it not be a total loss or surprise, and no one is being forced to listen ahead of the listening parties.

If you go on their playlist for 72 Seasons, there are 9 hidden tracks that are unavailable at the moment, and the existing uploads were apparently replaced for audio matching purposes since they were slight off from each other prior. They could also just upload audio with the artwork temporarily, and save the videos for the theatre premiere making that event still a reveal of sorts, and switch them out later this week.

In all the years I read So What mags etc… I’ve never been a fan of Stefan’s interview style. He always asks really vague and airy fairy questions that don’t mean anything and these new interviews are no exception. I don’t want metaphors about “journeys” and “brotherhood”. I want to learn about how songs were written, the approach in musical style, their thoughts on certain riffs, solos, melodies etc, what inspired them, how they recorded and all those things. I don’t get the hype behind these interviews and questions like: “ Just wrestling with your place and who you are in Metallica, when you throw out something like “Blackened 2020” and say, “Add onto it,” was that your way of making sure the chemistry you’ve trusted for decades was still there? That it was all going to be okay?” And the question re: Inamorata is: “I’m not saying you’d be sitting there slapping each other’s backs, but it is incongruous to me that you guys comment so little on the positive aspects of what you bring to your table. Do you think that’s ever going to change? Do you think you’re ever going to be able to say to each other, “Awesome, we’ve done a great job”?” It just comes across as pretentious wankery instead of questions drawing out any insightful detail in how Metallica write and create music. |

To be honest I think it's a dick move and disrespectful to be talking about ripping the album if it leaks and scavenging for links to steal their stuff IN THEIR OWN FORUM ahead of a release. Bands take their music releases very seriously. Metallica has obviously put a lot into their release parties. Coming on here and just openly talking about that and info exchanging is kind of an asshole move.
I get you're all excited. But jesus christ, keep that shit to yourself.
