I really miss the tuning room videos. Hasn't been the same since. We didn't even get Making Of videos for 72S.

Do they not do that anymore with So What? I remember I had 1 of my questions answered by Kirk on Twitter for some random thing, and another 2 in the So What magazine before it went digital.

It’s almost unreal to think that the guys joined the chat rooms and message boards during the St. Anger recording. It was so awesome. It was very cool.... in fact, the clip in SKOM when they go into the chat room, was during my time there. When Lars say "Calm down Jan" that was my friend janhetfield. It always went mental: there'd be like 30-50 of us in chat and then if anyone official would log in word would get out and then it would fill up. We always knew if it was going to happen if MetClub_Niclas or MetClub_Toby appear int he room... then you knew the guys were on their way. Where is So What available anymore? I only remember the interviews for 72S from the last few years. |

I also miss getting a copy by mail back in the 90’s.
Receiving the monthly issue was like Christmas. Shipped all the way from US to little Denmark.
Edit - every quarter.

I was digging thru shed stuff and placed all my car mags on a shelf in order... i am missing one mag from 2000 but is conplete from 1984 to current, (if 1 was missing I expected it to be a real early one). The SoWhat mags I placed next to them. Fun to flick thru again. Wont be selling or disposing of any of them. When Im 75 I'll reminisce (once I find my readimg glasses) |
