Cool. Where was this screenshot taken from? This happened last time didn't it? Same guy who leaked Screaming Suicide on Reddit. I believe its from Apple Music but there was evidence in Metallica's website last time which we don't have for this so take this with a grain of salt. If it's that littledrummerboyl profile I don't know if I'd believe it. That screenshot isn't as derailed as the last either. I do want another song though! |

How Lux Aeterna still sounds fucking fantastic to my ears after like 4 months, I can't tell. I never got bored of it. That's maybe one of the A-tier songs in the Metallica category. You can compare it with the songs like Memory Remains, Fuel, Frantic, Battery, Hit The Lights, Seek and Destroy and much more that I can't count.

I'm really fucking over the same old drum shit though that we've had for the last 4 albums. It's always the same sort of snare bashing that sets the tone for the whole song. I'd really love to hear some more melodic music.

Sounds very generic to me. Repetitive snare intro, standard 4/4 beat, open E string. Unless Kirk does something wild this doesn't seem to be anything special.
I will say though, this is a very cool and unique way to tease a song, if that is what they're doing.
