Daniel Cavanagh - Monochrome
Solo album from the guy from Anathema.
It sounds very much like an Anathema album. I found it pretty boring apart from a couple of nice songs though.
Bjorn Riis - Forever Comes to and End
Great album.

This is great post metal / prog with female vocals. They're from my hometown of Adelaide, Australia. Looking forward to checking them out when they play with Anathema in December.

Mastodon - Cold Dark Place:
Pretty good. My favourite song is North Side Star. I like this EP a lot more than Emperor of Sand.
Ayreon - 01011001
Not my favouritE Ayreon work but it features few of my favourite singers ever. Pretty good overall but Ayreon offers better.
Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Great album overall.
Symphony X - Iconoclast
There are few songs which are among the best they have done so far but overall I find it weaker than both Paradise Lost and Underworld.
Pain of Salvation - The Passing Light of Day
Possibly my favourite album this year.
Caligula's Horse - In Contact
Another contender for album of the year as far as I'm concerned.
Leaves' Eyes - Sign of the Dragonhead
I have always liked similar concepts. Cool album overall for those who like this kind of music but just not very remarkable after first listen.

Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill - forgot some of the lesser known good stuff on here.
Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace.
Megadeth - Cryptic Writings - criminally underrated.

Cradle of Filth - Dusk and Her Embrace. "Fleeting, enshadowed Thou art privy to my sin Secrets dead, wouldst thou inflict The cruel daylights upon my skin? Dost thou not want to worship me With crimson sacrifice So my cunt may twitch against thy kiss And weep with new-found life?" Red roses for the Devil's whooooooooooore! My highschool yearbook's closing message next to my photo, lol, along with a bunch of Jesus's words and stuff. I was so cool, lol.

Between the Buried and Me - Automata I
I like it, but it's clearly just one half of a full album so I'll have to wait until summer to give full opinion. I don't like the way they decided to release this album, but I think the whole album will be great.

Steven Wilson - Hands Cannot Erase John Lennon - Imagine Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie U2 - Unforgettable Fire Cake - Prolonging the Magic Cake - Motorcade of Generosity Metallica - Live at Grimeys (I was bit surprised to see this recording is now 10 years old - its does not feel that long ago)

Delta Goodrem - Innocent Eyes Very good what the fuck man I love your reply. I've been listening to some of The Killers albums. I'm seeing them on May 1st. though the guitarist & bass player no longer tour. I really like last years release 'Wonderful Wonderful' & 2012's 'Battle Born' 2006's 'Sam's Town' is good too.
