This one is a classic. From the one 2004 show they decided to reverse the set order for no reason. They closed with Blackened for the first time ever too (the opener for almost all other shows that tour).

Way more animated than the DM era onwards. 2004 was right before his decline. |

Weirder is 2004 just was the decline. I think it's confirmed the Lars-less show that June was because of coke-induced paranoia, and he quit drugs after that. That reaaally mellowed him out, plus their tour schedule in 2004 was brutal. This Disposable Heroes plays and sounds like WM Lars.

He was insane behind the kid and maybe one of my favourite set lists ever. Was such a cool feeling having absolutely no idea of what they would perform next. Btw they reversed the set because a crew member had his birthday and asked them to do so. Or it was very close to something like that. |

I reaaaally wish they didn’t release Just a Bullet Away on BM and worked on it more on a later album a la All Nightmare Long. It’s both so much better than the rest of that EP, but also way less fleshed out than the other three.
