I kinda love how much contention there is about most of the songs on HW, it makes me like how the album has all 12 songs. Except maybe Murder One, sounds like we're all in agreement that that one is pointless.

If it wasn't for the drum kit falling down the stairs, this could have been a really cool intro for the album. This chanting thing escalating then BOOM, Frantic kicks in. |

I thought SpiderDan wouldve been more pissed than it appears in that thread. Looks like he does a lot of work putting together as much significant recordings as possible in those sets

Some of these studio guys from back in the day must be sitting on some really cool stuff from various artists that will probably never see the light of day, or was accidently thrown out. At least this stuff gets to be shared in some way.

Maybe it can be added to the early recs release that was canned due to Dave dispute...if it ever is revived |

This song works pretty well as an instrumental as is. I always assumed the decision to add lyrics was made way earlier.

The rough mix doesn't have vocals because they hadn't been recorded yet. Many of the other rough mixes on the deluxe releases are instrumentals and sometimes missing solos too, like the two cover songs in the MoP boxset because the vocals and Kirk's solos come last along with any little odds and ends they decide to overdub. |

The wa-na-na-hey-hey-ono-na-heey demos were not really the extra tracks I was hoping for back when I would buy the CD singles. |
