It's from that Metallica teaches you how to play Metallica course right? They jam a song while you play along, like live guitar hero. More of these bellow ⬇️

I might like this more than the studio version. Hopefully the original Eb audio is floating around somewhere, I haven't been able to find it yet.

I think it's a "live show" performed on set that you get when you buy the Master Class they did. Probably only performed to the film crew and a few people, but you can hear the audience at the beginning of Sandman. You can see the stage on the trailer too:
It's probably cleaned up more than the LiveMet videos are (or they were really really focused on nailing it for the class) but that + the production value makes them sound almost as good as Hardwired re-recordings of these old songs.

Soundboard recordings of a near perfect live rendition, mixed to sound like the albums originally sounded, but with modern James vocals. Like the Motorhead cover session, but they're covering themselves.

Really hope they release one for AWMH. Probably the closest we'll ever get to a third Load.

Where The Wild Things Are is so damn underrated. I used to be a contrarian and call it my favorite Metallica song when I was like 17, but it’s still top 10 for me. Every bit as good as Outlaw, Bleeding, and Fixxxer. The bass at around 4:30 mark is simplistically epic.

Where the Wild Things Are stands above a lot of other songs from Load/Reload period...def a favourite of mine from then.
I watched a (badly filmed) youtube show from 98 the other day and was surprised when they included a jam of it in Jasons bass solo..... dont remember that being a thing. (Jason has a bottle thrown at him too in this show, forcing them to stop and restart One.)

It's just too produced man. I expect to hear a garage-y sound when I hear songs like it. Pearl Jam's Ten or AIC's Dirt drum sound is what I seek.

"James, can you act?" "YEAH!" "But, can you act convincingly?" "..." I've already seen the movie twice (on Netflix). It's pretty good. If I didn't know it was James I wouldn't have known.
