My 6th time seeing them. Good show. Highlighst:
Whiplash Fuel (those flames, man!) Holier Than Though Spit Out the Bone, though it should be trimmed off No Leaf Clover The videos on the screens Firework at the end
The sound was a bit off at times, and Rob's backing vox are muffled. I would't mind having a backing vocalist live.

I wouldn’t mind if they hired Avi full time to tour if he can get some of those raspier backing vocals too. Only on a few songs too, just add some keys or acoustic or backing vocals as needed.

How are things in your neck of the woods when it comes to leaving a concert without having taken your car?
Are subways still working past 11.30 PM/ 0 AM? And what about buses, considering the traffic gets diverted near the venue?

Public transport isn’t great outside of big cities where I live (yeah America!) so I’ve never relied on it for a concert other than one time in Boston. It really depends on the place because you’ll likely get screwed into buying a $50+ Uber if you’re not in Boston, NYC, Chicago, etc.

I was just talking crap about their lack of set variety in the tour forum but hot damn, this nearly sounded like the studio version instrumentally at times. They're TIGHT right now. Another DVD or Metallica Monday from this tour would be awesome.

So good. I just compared that to this video from 2018 and it's not just my ears playing tricks.
Kirk's rhythm playing is ALL OVER the place here, and Lars's tempo and kick placement is sloppy as fuck. It's stuff not even their tighter mixing they started doing in 2017 could help. I sorta felt like they upped their mixing game in part because they were getting too sloppy live, but Lars and Kirk are bringing it so far this year. So these 2022 videos have just been A+ in both sound quality AND playing. Extremely surprised and excited to hear this.

Every video from these shows is probably gonna be worth a share. Lars's "jazzy" tempo changes during this was a lot more minimal than they usually are. I wonder if he's playing to a metronome fully now.

Got the motherfucker back in the die part! That new? Rob? Love those death cloud visuals. Since about 2003 mate haha, I remember when he joined the band and some fan told him in a Meet and Greet (that was in a MetOnTour video) to say "motherfucker" during the Die part of Creep and he's done it ever since.

If there's anything I'll give them credit for it's the video production these days. Really great stuff. Just a shame the setlists are super safe.

They both have their flaws but DM is still a little bit of a mess to my ears. Definitely love some of those songs though.

How have I never seen this? I happened to post the full-on video of rehearsals this bit was from on the offical forums a couple of days ago. Not sure if I'd forgotten about it or never paid attention. Lars seemed to be enejoying Eye of the Beholder.

Shoot I totally missed that! I'm listening to the full thing now, this was a good time for the band. I really hope they'll give Eye one more shot before they retire.

Eye was a big highlight for me on Justice tour....I still remember it so clearly, the lighting, James' explorer, everything.
