Yeah it’s slowly growing on me, I’ve probably heard it around 15-20 times now. Which is twice as much as SS

Under 40 days til the album! Even though some of the singles haven't blown my mind, I'm getting myself extremely hyped for this release. I remembered recently how none of us knew Dream, Halo, and Spit until the album came out. There's a very good chance some of these singles will go down as the worst ones on the album. Out of the 6 singles between HTSD and 72, Moth has to take the cake as the best. But I think I'd put Lux, SS, and IDHAS all above Hardwired and Atlas. That's my theory too. Even the JUSTICE album had Eye of the Beholder as a third single, a song which was not only not that much appreciated by Metallica but also not radio friendly at all. And Better Than You was released a single from ReLoad. Darkness chorus is definitely catchy. I've tried not to burn myself out on the three singles, though.

I love that riff under the solo and I love even more that they reintroduce it for the outro. Even though it’s kinda a Savage rip off. And I gotta say, everything that Kirk’s does in this song, beside the solo is sick. He’s really good at harmonising and accents I agree.

A few weeks in and I’m still really enjoying all three songs. Nothing amazing but nothing bad (except the solos).

I haven't been this excited for a new album in a long time. Even with HTSD I didn't really get back into Metallica til after it came out. Been feeling a lot like I'm a kid again waiting for this.

I'm not expecting much for a few weeks, but I bet April is gonna be nonstop. I'm holding out hope to see them on SNL, the release date actually lines up with when the show is on air for once.

Is time for an update iMO. Song lengths, review, fourth single would be nice I think there's no need for any other single now. We are less than a month away from all the songs! But song lengths and early reviews would be great. The thing with early reviews are this. they are mostly nonsense to hype the listener but they are almost always great reads. You can't help but get hyped. I love reading those. If I remember correctly, they were suggesting that St.Anger was the best and heaviest thing since AJFA. Were they really wrong? You see, imagine reading these lines before hearing St. Anger.

Speaking of that album and reviews, do you guys remember that European journo (French?) who asked Lars straightaway if what he had just heard were the demos... Lol. Lars, kinda upset, was like "no, this is the real deal". LOL. Commercial suicide.

So, just heard on the radio that Inamorata is an instrumental. Supposed to be dark and gloomy. They referenced someone in the band had a recent divorce, and that Lars has had more than one divorce.

Hope that's true. I need some variety and an instrumental would go a long way.

It's been said on some docs that by the time TBA recording sessions finished, 3 out of 4 members had divorced: I'd say Lars, Kirk and Jason. James was the only unmarried at the time.

He was divorced by the time TBA sessions started. Ulrich's first marriage was in 1988 to Debbie Jones, a British woman he met on tour,[28] but they divorced in 1990 during the recordings of the Black album.[29] His second marriage was to Skylar Satenstein, an emergency medicine physician, from 1997 to 2004. They had two sons before divorcing.[30] Layne and Myles formed a band called Tapei Houston.[31] Following his divorce from Satenstein, Ulrich dated Danish actress Connie Nielsen from 2004 to 2012. They had one child together.[32] He married American fashion model Jessica Miller in 2015.[33] From Wikipedia. 🤷🏻♂️

I kinda like the album, though. I listened to it a lot back then and I sometimes revisit it when I want some aggression.

I'm sure they have their shipments unmarked and locked up tight, only to be labeled and shipped overnight before the release. Metallica are control freaks, and have the money to be control freaks to the max.
