When they released Moth for Flame, I was very luke warm on it, but listening to it lately, not hearing, listening, there is some amazing riffage going on there. It's a very good song however that Lady Gaga performance has tainted its legacy imo.

I love TWJYL. I have no idea what TWJYL isĀ That Was Just Your Life First time I heard Moth I was honestly really underwhelmed, almost slightly disappointed even. I kept listening to it throughout the day though and ended up falling in love with it, now its tied with Spit for my favourite song on HWtSD

I remember really not caring for the teasers of Moth when we got a little drip from the studio. Same with the teaser for Dream and Savage. I really had low expectations for the album. Like 8 years and this is what they tease us with. But, put those bits into the context of the songs and wow.

The Savage teaser got me pumped for the coming album. Turned out to be one of the songs I would put low on a list of whats awesome

Moth is one of their strongest songs since Load. It's certainly better than anything on Reload and St. Anger.

Halo On Fire while overall Death Magnetic is a stronger album, meaning there are no songs that I want to skip. HTSD has 6 songs that I consider to be Great with a capitol G the other one that I think is the sh*t is Confusion.

Best songs of the century:
1. Suicide & Redemption (Moderus III.2) 2. The Judas Kiss (Moderus III.2) 3. Dream No More 4. Moth Into Flame 5. That Was Just Your Life (Moderus III.2)
As for Moth Into Flame vs ReLoad I'd take Low Man's Lyric over Moth at the very least because Moth is excellent but I fucking love the shit out of LML.

So true, I remember when DM first came out people were saying it was as good as MOP..... now it's barely average. Give it a few years HWTSD will be worst than St. Anger.

I love both DM and HW, I can't say which is better but the production makes the replay value of HW a lot stronger

They used to have 'complicated' songs (and justice for all, ...). Hardwired is just not good enough.

They also "used to have" pretty simple and straightforward songs, like Motorbreath or Trapped Under Ice.
