I'm still shocked by how polarizing Savage is.

I still don't care for Savage even after all this time. I just don't think the song is for me.

Dream/Spit Moth/Confusion/Dead/Halo Revenge/Am I savage
Murder one
ManUnkind/HW/Atlas

Okay, after several months:
Hardwired Dream No More Spit Out The Bone Am I Savage? Atlas, Rise! Moth Into Flame Halo On Fire ManUNkind Here Comes Revenge Murder One Confusion Now That We're Dead
The top four are so far ahead of all the other songs on the album it's not even funny. Also, they could almost be in any order. And the three other songs behind Hardwired are slowly creeping up. But still, the title song reigns supreme.

Worst song for me is Here Comes Revenge. Garbage I wouldn't say worst but great intro and verses are ruined by "HERE COMES REVEEEEENGEE JUST FOR YOU , REVENGEEEEE , REVEEEEENGE , REVENG-"

This album is so weird in that we all have such polarizing opinions on most of the songs. One mans garbage is anothers treasure, that old saying.
With all the other album there is more or less general consensus as to what the gold vs the filler crap.

Isn't that a sign of a good album though, or am I totally lost?

I'd say that's a good thing, for the most part. Before the album dropped and we were all throwing around ideas, someone said they should do disc 1 as a thrasher, disc 2 as a more grungy load type, that's more or less what we got, something for everyone, just spread out over both discs.

I've personally come to the conclusion that while disc two isn't unsalvageable or even that bad on average, I enjoy the album much more if I skip straight to Spit Out the Bone after Confusion. That way it doesn't feel at all overlong and none of the songs (or even parts of the songs) make me go "eh". I don't outright hate any track on the album but I just feel like most of disc two's tracks blend together and aren't that unique or special.

I actually almost highlighted it as being the sole exception, but I decided not to bother because I'm not that keen on the track. I dunno, it's kinda weird. I like the disc two tracks, but I never bother to listen to them by themselves and when I listen to the whole album, I usually end up skipping them.

Is the track HW about terrorism? The lyrics would suggest so...

It's in the top spots for me to, such a badass groove to it. The whole middle section is stellar.

Both discs are awesome. 12 kickass songs. Yes, some tracks are better than others, but I'm just grateful they still got it.

Dream hardly sounds anything like Sad But True. If anything it sounds kinda like Memory Remains, but way better.

Dream hardly sounds anything like Sad But True. If anything it sounds kinda like Memory Remains, but way better. But it does have that 5 second silent stop like Sad.
