These always make me laugh. Should have done a black metal cover for the lulz.

They played pretty good and it was decent to watch some new stuff.
The drum sequence in «Dead» is so painful to watch. I cringed all the time. Should retire that.
«Halo», «Spit» and «Moth» were great live.
Anyway. They have become a nostalgia act and this was the last time I’ll see them barring a «rare songs tour». Other bands have overtaken the metal throne for me.

Love them for doing something like this! It is fun! "Rob & Kirk play A-Ha's "Take On Me" at Telenor Arena in Stockholm, Sweden on May 2, 2018" Oops though!

It's 7 days until the gig. I can't wait! Wonder what local song Rob & Kirk are going to butcher...

Cool, have fun. What is the most popular song to ever come out of Helsinki? Well, if they're going by Finland and not Helsinki specifically, I'd reckon it's either something by Hanoi Rocks, HIM, Children of Bodom or, errrr, Nightwish? Maybe The Rasmus? If they're feeling especially cheeky, they might break out Sandstorm by Darude or Freestyler by the Bomfunk MC's. Or then they go with something reeeeeeeeally obscure.

With the doodles they have been doing it was almost a sure thing. Glad they did! I'm a semi-closet ABBA fan. We always take Gold 1 & 2 on our road trips You couldn't get away from ABBA in Australia when I was kid. They had the songs, no doubt.

James and Lars must sit back and laugh their asses off for those 5 minutes each show. I wonder how much time is put into them, they probably reherse it back stage the day of for about 10 minutes.

So, the first of two Helsinki gigs had Rob and Kirk playing Michael Monroe's "Dead, Jail or Rock 'n Roll", with Monroe actually on stage with them. Pretty predictable, but better than some other ones they've done. Let's see what they do on Friday! I can hardly wait

Tonight is the night. My second indoor Metallica gig, and seventh overall. I've been blasting Metallica at full volume since I woke up A little over nine hours until Ecstasy of Gold!
