Before anyone gets too excited, James and Rob did do the co-lead vocals during the verses. But it didn't sound horrible. Solid performance so far!

Also awesome to note that they played seven HTSD songs tonight!! That happened ONCE with Death Magnetic, and never with St. Anger, ReLoad, or Load.

Well it's about time. Great job. Give it a few shows to tighten it up and it'll kick ass! I'm just glad they didn't mess up the harmony part and following vocal section, best Metallica part in a long long time.
And yeah, that crowd needed to put down their tea cups and go nuts.

Man, Rob needs to learn to enunciate when he's singing. Mouth full of marbles that guy. Didn't play the first 55 secs themselves. I can understand them not playing certain intros, but, for this kind of song, that is handicapping.

Would much prefer them to jam it out, play it differently, or leave it out completely. And if its being used for a breather, gimme silence and anticipation...I have the recorded music at home, don't need to hear it here |
