Since I actually went to a show this tour for the first time, I could only look at that set list and go " fucking of course". Good for you guys though! I would've killed for that set.

First half was probably among the best gigs ever, the second half was by the numbers. I've never seen a Metallica show with so many mistakes, but that first half, wow, all is forgiven. So many cool moments and I'm not really good at penning them all down afterwards. Any questions? And yes the stage is their worst ever

No donkey kong drums but it was still horrible. The crowd went completely dead and it was just misplaced. The song is so fucking good live, they really ruin it with that shit. Dream was exactly how you would imagine it, so fucking heavy. It's a killer live song but I felt like I was the only one knowing it

It was the same at the show I went to. I think they all sound really groovy live, except for Moth. I'll probably get hate for that, but the missing drum things really kill the song live for me.

Moth is still a great live song for me, obviously dat fill is missing but it doesn't bother me. They had some crazy lighting thingy flying around during it and I feel like a retard for not figuring it out. It looked stunning but I have no idea how they did that, looked like Moths flying around in certain patterns. My buddy suggested small drones but that sounds a little over the top. Either what it looked cool.

Ah okay. It looked really good. The stage thingy is horrible, those "televisions" gets lowered up and down several times in each song, so distracting.

What kind of mistakes Kimbo? Nothing on the level of that "One" fuck up a few weeks ago I hope.

I liked the new stage. Those small drones flying around during Moth was really cool. I liked the setlist too, Day and Breadfan were nice surprises. And yes, Dream was heavy as a truckload of bricks.

Seek as the third song... How did that fly? Seems like a bit of a buzz kill.

Day was amazing but they were so close to fucking it up. Generally just small mistakes which I think not many noticed but I thought they were pretty clear.

Not at all, I think it felt fresh that early in the set.
EDIT: I'm talking about Seek as 3rd song, just for clarification.

One thing I noticed. They played the whole disc 1 of HTSD. 6 new songs instead of regular 5 that they were playing during NA tour. Hope that stays.

I gotta say, Kirk seemed done... Like really done. Not his playing but he just didn't seem to enjoy the gig at all. James was amazing, as always, Lars is just an energy bomb and I love him heaps. Rob was Rob, which is mostly flawless in whatever he does with his instrument.

I like the new One intro and the middle section with just the strobes going again.
The soldier thing is cool but it's nice to mix it up.
Now if only they would use Pyro again during the Landmine part. They do some weird explosion sound over the PA but there is no fire. Weird.

Agreed, almost no pyro and bombs but lots of flames on the screens and sounds over the PA. It's just feels a little flat (cheap)
