I don't understand why they need to fuck with the characters, word on the street is they have made it that the Falcon did the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs, but Han wasn't on board. They are just trolling fans now.

I knew TFA would be shite when they announced JJ Abrams involvement, his Super 8 film was a load of nonsense.
The bad news is that he's involved in writing and directing Episode IX.

The trilogy is irreparably damaged so it's pretty much a wash out as it is. I may or may not see part 9, I'm unlikely to see it at the cinema, at least until the reviews are out and the new star wars reviews have settled down and the real, non Disney Shill critics do a review. So once again, someone managed to fuck up star wars, probably the easiest franchise not to fuck up. Alan's Cannon is now Officially ; - Rogue One (last 30 minutes)

One of the main problems with the new trilogy is that they haven't really brought anything new to the table they are essentially retreading old ground, the writing is pretty poor.
