Any info on that leather jacket James used to wear in the 90's with the Metallica logo on?

Any info on that leather jacket James used to wear in the 90's with the Metallica logo on? Isn't it an old Master of Puppets tour jacket? I seem to recall seeing that's what it said under the Metallica logo in some photo from back in the day. Tried looking for a clear shot of it on the Black Box website but annoyingly enough most shots are too tiny to make out the text properly. I did spot Jason also wearing the same type of jacket with the text on it in a '91 backstage shot so it's definitely that.
You can sorta see the text in one photo of Lars and James on a plane but I swear there's at least one actually good photo of James wearing it out there where it's really clear.

Yeah it's the Master of Puppets tour jacket...from memory he wore it a lot across 86-93 and it had an appearance in the Load booklet but hasn't been seen since. I think it may have ended up in a Hard Rock Cafe or something. If they made reproductions in the MetStore I'd be a buyer in a heartbeat.

Yeah, i agree they should make that jacket available, i'm guessing they would be really expensive though and only a limited number would be made.

It's this one: Oh hey it's weird 1989 era James with the piercings and the relatively thin mutton chops. There's an interview also from Japan from around that time that's probably one of the most interesting ones I've seen since it's James fully still in the Justice era mindset and talking about the fans growing with them and their lyrics and specifically getting more socially conscious: It's striking to me since he basically did a complete 180 in a few years in many ways on his way of thinking and seemed to also get a lot more confident in interviews at the same time. e: I don't think I can get the link to point to the right timecode so just navigate to 13:00 if you wanna watch the interview since that's when it starts.

This guy went above and beyond with this. I actually listened to St Anger from start to finish and enjoyed most of it. He added some really nice little things and textures throughout that really help bring it up a notch. He redid everything but kept the original vocals but added some ambience to them in parts. Download before it disappears and throw out your original copy.

What was the Copenhagen Broadcast? Some live tv show performance or something?
You got me excited there for a second Ford, thought we had a cover album dropping or something.

Doesn't sound like Lars style of drumming, which makes it sound like something else than Metallica and takes me out of the song.
Edit: The last riff is cool.

That's the problem with drummers trying to "play better" than Lars. They no longer sound like Metallica.

I've heard tons of worse versions. It's cool enough, the middle section lacked texture compared to the similar part in the beginning. Sounds epic. Would listen to in battle ⚔️

I'm usually not very interested in these remix versions of songs, but for some reason I decided to listen to this. And god fucking damn this makes the song brutal as fuck.

Metallica is honoring Elton John & Bernie on 3/20 at the Library of Congress. I’m figuring they’re doing an Elton cover!

Saturday was my first guess. I could envision them getting really Metallica-y, with their own heavy cover of Bennie & the Jets, but I'm not sure that's the vibe of the event lol
