There's usually a decent acoustic cover in there somewhere.

Random question. Is there anything of significance left for this year in Metallica world? No tour dates (besides global citizen)? No special shows? No anniversaries of any kind? No special boxes? No remasters? No album (obviously)? Basically silence until 2023? The acoustic benefit show(s) has been added to that list. But the announcement of a new album late this year -- for early next year -- could save the day, if you ask me.

There was a good quality vid of both BACK IN BLACK and LET THERE BE ROCK. Seems to be gone now. Why is this stuff being removed? MTV channel had the full 6 hours up. I was only 30mins in and it disappeared.

Not my favourite song off Master of Puppets but was digging Disposable Heroes today.

Sound kind of sucked, the snare more specifically, and boy did he pound away at such a basic beat for Back in Black, thought his arm was going to fall off.

The vid I saw had a tech sorting out before they got into LTBRock. I thought he did a great job once the snare was fixed.

Part of the Taylor Hawkins tribute show. Lars and Brian Johnson with the Fooies played 2 songs.

I was only 30mins in and it disappeared. Because it was a livestream on the MTV YT channel. Once the show ended (at some point after that) the stream got removed. I managed to watch all of it up until the Foos set and then I had to crash. But if you're into torrenting, you can grab the whole show here: yts.mx/movies/taylor-hawkins-tribute-concert-2022

Only just found out Rob is a part of Ozzy's new album, with writing credit no less. Wild how he and Kirk have to go outside of Metallica to release new music.

Not sure if it was a smart idea to open with Creeping Death and have the crowd sing "die" at a festival like this lol

Watching Taylor Hawkins stream ( very poor, nothing official this time ) and looks like Lars will be playing in about 1 hour from now. Playing with Seb Bach and Geezer, dont know what song but expecting at least 1 typical Sabbath track.
