And btw, I like it. Sort of. It's hit n miss with trolls.
Damn, imagine being, I'm assuming middle aged, and still career trolling with full commitment. Not a crack of normalcy.

*Post something completely normal, though completely socially abnormal given the circumstance, while avoiding anything said about you. Also change the name, avatar, of your second account and unfollow your main account, as if it wouldn't be noticed. Enjoy the attention and rub your woody*

This is a fucking great performance and I'm not even that much of a fan of the song.

It's cool to see James getting comfortable with being just the singer. I still think he should have worn a cape lol.

Cape...I say why not.

Listen to this video if you are curious about how Lars REALLY sounds post-HW era. I don't like the sampled drums... at all.

If they do I hope they do it with the album order of songs unlike 2012 tour. Sandman has not opened a show since 1993(?).

I think about many things. Something like Metallica - Leper Messiah. About how Slayer radicalized himself after 2001. For me it was absurd at that time. And how they exorcise themselves in a very twisted way - if I think about what might come. As if they knew a big secret - from the beginning. And what does Tool do in all this or maybe more A Perfect Circle?

i wonder 16 songs per setlist is the new normality? That would be too bad. Even if they bumped it to 17 with a mandatory instrumental slot. But I guess those are all physically demanding songs instrumentally, even if James gets a vocal break.

Plus, they seem to be playing everything at a slower tempo, 30 seconds here and there add up to 5-6 minutes, length of one song.

If I were a betting man, Iād go with TBA front to back tomorrow, then a 4 song encore with Hardwired, some cover, Sanitarium, and Creep.

I think if they do TBA in it's entirety, they'll go back to front like last time. Though I think it would be more interesting if they mixed up the album's tracklist, in a good way.

Can I go back to my thoughts? I have already written about it You know the sound when the car suddenly slows down I hear these sounds since Lords Of Summer. Not everywhere. Eg. Hardwired - simple bang, bang, bang :notes: - you have to put a puzzle there - of course. You remember that clean drum part after solo in āBatteryāā¦ I think how the race begins and ends in Am I Evil. Lars slows down like a professional footballer. I think what happens at such moments on Kill 'Em All (eg. Phantom Lord). Spit Out The Bone - great track, very fast - but these ruts ā¦what for? If itās just Lars Dream Theater fantasies - Iād say ādelete thatā. These are just my thoughts. I donāt want to make scream from the Immigrant Song Led Zeppelin.

They did it! I really hope this gives me some chance of seeing MFOM in December. Itās a shame itās only been played once outside of the full album still (and Struggle & Tread never have).

So cool they played Black in full...but man the clips on YouTube sound rough. Hopefully just seem a lot worse because they are shitty phone recordings and maybe I've been spoilt by all the 1991-93 content I've been listening to in the boxset, but these performances sound really wobbly and unrehearsed compared to how they came out guns blazing in the 2012 performances.

I hope they recorded that themselves, and release it. Or at least the venue did. Cuz I don't want to watch it otherwise.

Great version. I'm glad that James keeps singing those high notes in the verses.

Their tightness and James' voice is definitely a lot more rusty than normal. It reminds me of how they sounded in 2004 though, so nothing extremely tragic. Hopefully they'll get some fire soon. Lars on the other hand definitely practiced in the last year. His fills are sounding a little more unique and a lot more solid tempo-wise.
