Star Trek Beyond sounds like it will be great.
Trekkies are saying it's the best of the 3 by a long way and possibly the best Trek film since The Undiscovered Country in 1991.

Lorenzo's Oil
talk about poor choices..we spend little to no time with the characters before the events unfold, tries to go for serene sadness (with shots of art, Samuel Barber's Adagio, yadda yadda) but ends up being serene melodramatic..it's just a painful chore to sit through. Because the events happen so early in the movie we have to go for way more than an hour before there's any change in the character's mood, or before new clumsy elements (awkward attempts at "comedy") appear. It's practically 2 hours of misery, scientific mumbo-jumbo, entitled parents, but since the film is so unbalanced it's not even well done misery.
Nick Nolte is also an unintentionally hillarious Italian.
4 out of 10.

I just saw the force awakens. It was pretty good with all the references to the old movies. Could have been a remake of the movie with the death star though.

This happened too, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I feel like DC really has no clue how to make a trailer.

^^^ I know how I feel about it before even watching it. Jason Momoa yeah... a fan since the days of Stargate Atlantis.. and shall watch this.. closely :D He looks like the best part of the movie from that trailer. Eye candy for you!

would be pretty cool to go to San Diego for Comic Con one year I've got my eye candy now. Also, Wonder Woman in World War 1? I'm not really familiar with the comics but this looks pretty good.

El Secreto de sus Ojos
So Hollywood gives this the Oscar then remakes it little time after? What the fuck for? There's no way they were going to do it justice.
Shallow bit: nothing against Nicole Kidman but a skinny blonde like her is not in any way the equivalent of a gorgeous Latin bombshell like Soledad Villamil :P

Until the Light Takes Us
the 36 minutes of deleted scenes was way more interesting than the rest..what the fuck were they thinking?

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
enjoyable and quotable. RDJ was a bit too hyper though.

Saw Warcraft... Meh... I'm not familiar with the universe so I don't know if it stayed true or not. Ben Foster is always great but I felt they could have done a lot more with him

Jason Bourne
Greece was interesting but it doesn't stay that way for long. Cool that they *SPOILER* kill Julia Stiles and bring a sort of nemesis with Vincent Cassell but it's too just for the sake of it.
And the repeated ending not being a resolution instead of killing the franchise is meh imo tbh. Kill it already.

I went to see Jason Bourne last night and I enjoyed a lot. Sure, it is not the first one - love that! However, I kinda hope the way this one played out and ends means more is to come.

It was just a chore sittings through in parts, which shouldn't happen even if you remove the trilogy from the equation and treat it as just any blockbuster.

I get what you are saying. I didn't find it a chore at parts..just maybe lacking in a certain intellectual/conspiracy level.. for me. Still.. it has encouraged me to download the trilogy books to ma kindle... so all good :)
Going to see Suicide Squad on Monday.. it does look fun, hopefully it will be.

It's been getting horrible reviews. Hopefully they're wrong and it doesn't detract from it being a fun movie :o

ach, aye, I hope it is not so bad. I ignore reviews anyway. Go, watch, make up my own mind.

I usually pay at least a little attention to the reviews because I'd rather not spend money and two hours of my day watching a piece of garbage just so I can make up my own mind.

I think different people get different perspectives of movies/music/shows etc.. who is to say what I like, except me?
I am on holiday and therefore don't mind going to cinema for couple hours. It isn't expensive enough that I would be annoyed at wasting some £s

(which I don't necessarily agree, though I saw TGB many year's ago so if I revisit the opinion might change)
