Dune (2021)Really, really good. The casting was great, the visuals were fantastic, the music and the sound design was brilliant. Left me yearning for more. Certainly didn't feel like 2.5 hours. I think Hans Zimmer did the score?

I think Hans Zimmer did the score? He sure did. And as usual, it was fantastic. I loved the Middle/Far Eastern influences on the soundtrack.

Last Man Standing: Suge Knight and the Murders of Biggie and Tupac Decent. figuratively Do you remember the cry of Harvey Keitel at the end of Reservoir Dogs? I think it’s coming. Sad that it probably won’t be the police or some thieves - just stupidity.

The Matrix 1, 2 and 3: the first one is still awesome. The second (although a logical continuation of the story) has one awesome action sequence but is easily forgettable for the rest of the movie. The third one shouldn't have been made (although this too is a logical continuation of the story). 2 & 3 look like complete different movies compared to the first.

It - mini series from the 90s
My kids want to watch the new version, I said here, watch this. I've seen it so many times, but man is it ever a cringe fest. It hurts to watch. Adult Beverly still looks hot though.

The B movie watching continues... The Room Watched this again for the first time in a year. Still as amazing as the first time.
Hell comes to Frogtown
I was actually surprised by this movie; It wasn't That bad. A post-apocalyptic action comedy that was actually quite charming and pretty entertaining (in more ways than just by being ridiculous at times). It had a charm to it similar to for example Star Wars.

New 007 is crap. Stay away. the best sequence is in the beginning of the movie but the whole thing is so long you forget it actually happened.

Today I watched Marauders with Bruce Willis on Netflix. I expected some Die Hard action sequences but I forgot action movies this days have a really complicated (over the top corrupt) story. What's wrong with just killing for the fun of it? Stay away from this shit. I only watched it because I like Bruce Willis (but unfortunatly his action days seem to be over) and the movie dissapears from Netflix in a few days.

Bruce was great back in the day. I can't recall around when he started to fade, I guess after Unbreakable or around then. Die Hard with a Vengeance will always be up there for me in top movies. Him and Samuel Jackson together is such a great duo. 12 Monkeys is A+++ Pulp Fiction The Jackal Also great films.
The new Die Hards are hot garbage.
On Netflix, the show "The Movies that made us" has a really interesting episode on the making of Die Hard. Check that out if you haven't already.

House of Gucci
Very little of note other than the cast. There is so much they could have picked from this story to make something coherent and gripping, but it ends up being an underdevelop slog.

New Home Alone reboot It's okay I guess, nothing special, the kid is annoying as hell, like a fat little Ricky Gervais. The "bad" couple who are in conflict with him have some funny stuff going on. Couple of throwbacks to the original in the score and some stuff. Watchable, but do you really want or need to?
Disney Jungle Cruise Yay Metallica, yay The Rock, jokes, snakes, the end.

Spider-Man: No way home - Loved it! Entertaining, fangasmic and moving...Those 2 hours and 28 minutes went by in a flash (Thompson). I actually even wish it was a bit longer and I don't feel that way about Marvel movies that often at all.

- Don't Look Up - 🚫👀⬆️
Cool movie. Pretty solid cast. Could have been trimmed by 20 or so minutes, felt a little too bloated. Kind of plays out in 3 (slightly too long) acts. Couple of annoying characters, lots of good ones though. Rides the line between a comedy and a serious drama with some pretty heavy moments, sometimes trying a bit too hard going for the "wow" factor. Worth checking out if you want to check out for 2 hours. The good is great, and the bad passes quickly. Definitely stick around after the credits 😉 9/10
