Picked up a new 360 for $129. Plus bought second hand copies of CoD2, CoD4, World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops 2 for $78. Pretty pumped to play through my favourite series again, and my intention is to hold onto it all this time for prosperity. Good move |

The new Call of Duty trailer is out. It's some Star Wars like thing and looks awful. The internet is universally hating it, of course, but also will buy it because it comes with a remaster of Call of Duty 4. You know your series has gone to shit, when you have to offer a remastered fan favourite from 9 years ago to try to sell copies of your latest installment. I'm just happy I have a 360 to play CoD4 on. Really smart move though, it's $20.00 more than most retail games here in the US and it's going to sell like crazy because of the remaster. Still bullshit though. |

I've spent all week playing Black Ops 2, CoD4 and and World at War. So much better than the new CoDs. No micro transactions. No jet packs, No campers..
I'm so happy there are still Aussies playing these games and that I can always get a low ping game.
I was looking forward to picking up Doom, but I'm having too much fun with these old games. My interest will be held for sometime I think. Although I'm thinking about rebuying Oblivion and also taking another run at Skyrim.
Last gen was just SO much better.

I haven't played first person shooters since Call of duty 1 and 2 back in the day when they just came out. To get back into FPS (during WW2) I got COD: World at war used for PS3. Good game to begin my FPS spree?

Wish EA didn't kill off the Medal of Honor series. Those were the best shooters when it came to World War II, nothing ever came close. Woulda been nice to see them do one for World War I.
