OK, progress being made. Way better then the last one I heard.

I really don't get the ManUnkind hate. Sure it has very cringy lyrics but apart from that it has a cool 70's vibe and reminds me of Sabbath. It does sound like a cover (because It's not similar to any of their previous songs) and would fit on Garage Inc CD1, next to Sabbra Cadabra :D I don't get the Murder One hate. It's a simple, catchy song (likz Motörhead). To each their own I guess

Maybe James will sing over Rob at those parts so the vocals are doubled? Its not like that part is hard to play or anything, I'm really wondering why they would do this. Metallica trolling level 10.

I think they do it because the song is tough vocally for James so he prefers some breaks so he doesn't wear out his voice for the rest of the show.

You would think that by now they would have invested in a vocal coach for Rob and kirk. They may not have the best sounding voices ever, but at least there would be some level of in tune back up vocals.
I still think Lars has the best voice out of the three. Would love to see him get a mic, then again, its Lars, if they gave him a mic he might never shut up.

But not every has 'it.'

Robert has generally speaking gotten quite a lot better at vocals the last few years and I don't think he's that bad overall these days. I'd definitely say that both Kirk and Lars sing out of tune more often than Robert.

James should rest his voice during NEM and let Rob and Kirk sing a duet.

James should rest his voice during NEM and let Rob and Kirk sing a duet. They can always ask Lady Gaga to do a song or two.

Has anyone got that clip of Rob's awful backing vocals on RTL a few years back? It was hilarious...
I think it was posted on the old Metbb.

I still can't believe Lords of Summer made it out of Lars's vault and they did 3 fkn versions of it.

At least they where smart enough to not use it as the album opener, you know it was probably a close call.
If it wasn't for the cheese ball lyrics, its all right, not the greatest thing ever, but vibe is there. That one was great live in person.

Yeah, musically it's a fun song, lyrically....ah..the first version was the best for the lyrics, though still pretty bad.
Oh and it's still a better song than Hardwired, ManUnKing and Am I Savage.

Yes ManUnkind is a lot better than LoS, just the awkward solo that raises the eyebrow.
Lyrics about any other topic would have helped LoS. Maybe should have gone with Whores That Stutter.

THE WHORES THAT STUTTER HAVE RETURNED!
Definitely has a better ring to it, could have been the next Sandman.

I went from not liking LOS, the first one, to liking the final one. I even programmed it to the album and kicked a few tracks off.
