What the hell! Check this shit out, have you seen the new ending to Memory Remains? AWESOME!!! Starts at 3:33. That's better than hearing Memory for the 32425th time

Well, let's apply the process of elimination. What do you do with witches? Well I could tell you, but I don't think that it would be very forums appropriate. No, we burn them! Now, what do we burn apart from witches?

I know, what the fuck. I never would have caught it if it wasn't for a few comments posted saying how they loved the new ending.

How long have they used the intro tape for Sanitarium? I believe it started during the US stadium tour.

I'm a little late on this, but I thought that outro to Memory Remains was pretty boring.
The song's lost a lot over the years. They play it too fast, Lars's fills just don't work (not to mention the awful china spam instead of using a goddamn ride like every other drummer on the planet) and James plays the main guitar part in the singalong bits instead of the super high weird effects-y thing like he used to, which kinda makes it sound lame. Not a fan.

Yeah, I don't see what the big fuss is about that outro. I always liked the way they ended Memory live, with the instruments fading and the audience singing. The outro feels just completely unnecessary.

Actually if they really wanna extend out Memory Remains with a singalong bit, they should just play the demo version since it's way longer. Far better than just playing random nonsense over the audience singing.
e: Hell it even has a faster bit at the end if that's what they want specifically!

BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Come on guys, they're having fun and gave a new spin on a song we've heard countless times. They probably we're jamming it in the tuning room for kicks and said "Hey, let's fuck with them and finish it like this" I'm sure their wasn't much thought put into it. They could just play an open E while Lars does the dubble bass\symbols thing like on almost every other song.
I like it, but I like more that they tried something fun and new, changing the norm and throwing a curve ball.

I like it when bands do jams so that outro was spiffy.

I think it's pretty clear that Ruflux -- that newt-cursing witch son of a bitch -- and Jayzon don't like big titties.

I like the jammy outro.
They could have used an outro tape.

The vids from Helsinki have been really good. I honestly think they've been killing it the past month or so. James has found a way to sound gritty pretty consistently and their tones have improved, at least for sure on the LiveMets. Guitars sound super crunchy and Lars' kit sounds niiice. Rob has always had killer tone but it's nice and audible in the mix

Not that they are bad now by any means, they just don’t have that consistent grit and power that he was singing with in 2012 to even parts of 2014/5. Everything else sounds great, even Kirk is sounding great compared to how he started out this tour.

When they're playing 50 gigs a year his voice takes toll just like on the DM tour. When they're doing only summer gigs or 10-15 shows a years (especially after months of break) he sounds better.

Some of the venues they are playing on the next leg are really out there in the sticks. Saskatoon etc. I was checking out the website for the new Saskatoon arena, looks nice for a town that has no NHL team or much else. Same with some of these college towns they're playing.
A lot of dates aren't sold out shockingly. I'm sure the few seats left are scattered nose bleed seats, but still.
Also, them not playing any dates all summer... Strange indeed. I guess the money flow has been doing well enough lately.
