Kirk played the entire ending a whole string up, awesome! Are you talking about 6:10? That was James playing harmony. That part isn't a harmony, it's supposed to be played in unison. Compare it to when they do it the first time before the solo, Kirk didn't mess up there.

That seems more like a choice to play it that way, at that part, rather than a 'mess up.'

Holy shit, YTMND still exists? That's nostalgia, right there.

My approach to Kirk live at the 2 gigs I saw last week is that he's trying his best, he's having fun and we're all having a good time. He's in his mid-to-late 50s... let's just appreciate that he/they are still here and still going hard.
Considering how many celebrities we've lost lately and how everyone was their biggest fans after death, I'm sure we'd all kill to have Kirk play the last section of Straw a string up, or off beat during Spit's solo, if he died tomorrow.
(I won't let Lars off for overplaying though)

You guys know I have a Dream boner.
God damn James sounded so good vocally on this last leg. Looks like he's trying to change up the vocals for the second chorus. Didn't like the high note he tried to go for, I really dislike when he does that.
But I liked the first "he binds your soul" change.

They play it a bit too fast, but that's Lars for you. I love me some Dream. Up there with Sad and Thingy.

I'm noticing how much more Rob is doing backing vocals these days. I really love it, even if he doesn't always nail it. It creates a great dynamic.

I'm pretty convinced that he took some pretty serious vocal lessons sometime before HW was released since every song on there utilize harmonies pretty extensively.

And yet, he still doesn't push from the diaphragm. His technique is pretty awful. He's learning to harmonize, but other than that... Kirk could use some lessons. BRB, cowabunga dude!

Dream live is so cool in parts, and so out of key vocally in others.

James was talking about Rob taking vocal lessons back in the DM days, but it hasn't really been evident until now. By the way, ending of that Halo video is hilarious. James straight up drops Lars' drumstick lol

That ManUNkind performance looks like it's taking place at Madame Tussauds.

Kirk just invented a new scale. Yeah until that ending that was a solid performance. Memory next, they haven't really been playing this one too much this tour IIRC.

If they Fight Fire With Fire or Fuel, that would be messed up. I don't think they will, but still.

Plays antartica, doesn't play Trapped under ice. Plays a benefit show against fires, plays Fuel for Fire. That's Metallica right there, it wouldn't even surprise me Shows cool, but Dat fade ending
