I had to train myself not to hit as hard when I play it because it can completely overpower my toms lol. Of course, after years of wanting one, Tama releases that sweet matte black finish like 2 months after I finally got mine :/ |

I like how they have been using the TTN scenes on the bigscreens.
Looks cool, they are getting more of their moneys worth out of the film cost, and may get more people purchasing the DVD/Bluray

Unforgiven was really good. It amazes me that James can still put all that emotion into it after all these years. I haven't heard this specific performance, but Lars has been ruining the song for me over the last few years. Instead of the album style tasteful fills, he's going ballostic on out of time tom rolls and snare hits, it's all out of time and is so bad. Especially the solo section. I'm not one to say much about Lars' drumming, normally it's just "meh" at worst, but Unforgiven is now unlistenable. It's a real shame because I love the song. One is also unlistable, but for different reasons. Both should be dropped from the set. |
