Good guy Metallica, has an awesome mix, uploads worst performance. Someone's guitar is out of tune.  Love this band. Awesome mix though, hope they keep it. |

Holy shit, did they actually listen to us peasants and realize the muddy mixes? Or is this just a ramp up for a live DVD? Either way please continue this trend, despite hearing that obviously out of tune guitar, its better than nothing.

Yeah, I gave it 30 seconds then turned it off.
I have no more tolerance for Kirk's out of tune guitar. It baffles me how after 35+ of being a band, they can perform with their lead guitarist always out of tune, and then release performance footage and sell audio recordings of concerts sounding completely out of key. It's deteriorated over the last 2-3 years to the point now where it's every single show now and almost every single song.

To be fair, most songs were probably out of tune so they wouldn't have had much of a choice.

I'm pretty sure the Mexico shows are going to be on a DVD, there were apparently extra cameras there during the show and everything. Maybe they'll fix the out of tune guitar for that, but I'm not holding my breath.

Don't worry, if things go like last time, it'll only be released in select countries and the online store, with other gigs from other parts of the world getting similar limited releases.
e: Wait, I'm listening to Confusion right now and uhh is it just me or is James's guitar a little off too? It kinda sounds that way. Kirk is way off, but I'm not convinced James is perfect either.
What a fucking mess. Any other band and the guitar tech would've been sacked ages ago.
