The better April Fools would've been if they'd actually played that and then never played any of the songs on the list ever again. Hell, do it with minimal rehearsal while you're at it so everyone has a fit since the performances are all relatively poor. Oh yeah, and no acknowledgement of the show whatsoever, no Livemet release or YT videos. Where's the just kidding moment? Are you sure you understand how April Fool's works? That April Fools setlist, while including some songs I don't particularly care for, would've been infinitely more interesting than just about any setlist Metallica has played in about 20 years.
I mean, Spit, My World, FIXXXER, Disappear, Eye, Ronnie, -Human... Those are dream setlist stuff for me.

James has changed his intro in Halo. It now sounds out of tune and horrible compared to how he performed during their Asian leg. Feck sake. i listened to hong kong and brazil back to back, didn't notice a difference? |

Also, Rob's tone sounds way better. TLITD jam and Anesthesia. Might be his best playing of Anesthesia, awesome.
Also the best Halo on Fire live performance so far.

That is a damn good performance. No big fuck-ups, and the mix is a little better than the usual LiveMet stuff with more defined bass drums and heavier sounding guitars. Also the cymbals don't sound as compressed, though the toms and the snare disappear in the mix totally and lack all definition. I think at this point the snare in particular might actually be down to bad mics and/or the fact that it's a pretty deep 6.5" snare so it naturally has a pretty low pitch. The drum tech should probably tune it up a bit so it cuts through better.
But yeah, vocals were on point and even Kirk wasn't terrible. I even kinda liked his improvised solo at the end there. Still sounded like his guitar was out of tuning again but oh well.
