Paul Blake, the actor that played the Rodian bounty hunter in that iconic scene, recently spoke with the Daily News about filming Han and Greedo’s interaction.

“Of course, in it said it all in the original script,” said Blake. “We played in the scene in English and at the end of the scene, it reads, ‘Han shoots the alien.’ It’s all it says and that’s what happened. It was very painful.”

Blake finds the changes to be a bit embarrassing for poor Greedo, since they show him missing his target from just across a table.

Blake is one of the many original “Star Wars” actors that will be featured in the upcoming documentary “Elstree 1976,” which goes behind-the-scenes of the making of the first “Star Wars” film. “Elstree 1976″ opens in select theaters on May 6.

'And then during all of it, George kind of lost interest in continuing it… While we were working on The Empire Strikes Back, George decided he was going to complete the first film trilogy and that would be it.'
'When George decided not to make another trilogy, he completely jettisoned that story line, which is why in the first ten minutes (of Return Of The Jedi), Boba Fett gets bumped into and falls into the mouth of a giant monster.'

'So he took what was planned for the next trilogy, which was the confrontation between Luke and Darth Vader, and the battle with the Emperor, and that got squished down from three movies to one movie. And that became the plot of Jedi.'

Deleted Scenes – While there were a handful of deleted footage on the original Blu-ray, this one promises even more “never-before-shared” scenes.
