Speeding up the tempo like that was a silly choice. I think old-old Metallica wouldn't have sped up the tempo for that specific song, even if they wrote it earlier. Metallica was never as much of a 'speed metal' band as people remember. I'm not gonna listen past Frantic though. I'd rather listen to this on repeat

worst thing I've heard in a while Holy shit that's bad. Also how is it in E standard tuning when all the guy apparently did was speed up the songs to bring up the pitch? The album's entirely in dropped tuning, mostly drop C, so pitching up by a full step would get you drop D which would be the closest you can get to E standard without going over it. I bet he fucking pitched it up even higher than that to get the bottom string up to E and created some sort of abomination of a tuning that doesn't exist. |

I fully expect this question won’t result in many serious answers, but was it ever revealed who Fixxxer is? I’d always assumed it was Jeff (metontour) but I guess it doesn’t make much sense to have two accounts.

The original one was a guy called Frank who was the original webmaster, then I think it was Jeff whilst Niclas was webmaster/MOT and then Jeff took over from Niclas when he left and assume someone else took over the Fixxxer role. |

I went in expecting to go "eh, it's okay I guess" but I thought that was pretty solid overall. Jason is definitely getting ready to transition full-time to Lou Reed though, I'm expecting Lulu II in the next five years or so at this rate.
I'm not even going to touch the comments on that video though because I already know what at least half of them will be.
