I am a goddamn fucking complete motherfucking gentleman at the movie theater. I don't say shit during the movie, and I make sure that I'm not bumping other people's elbows when I masturbate during the sexy time scenes. And I only bust all over the person's head in front of me if they ask me to or if my aim is particularly bad that day. Or if the lighting used in the sexy time scene was overly dark. Why would they make it that dark? Don't they know I'm trying to be a gentleman back here? Just do what everyone else does and shoot your load into your popcorn bag Lee. The popcorn is already salty, you're not going to ruin the flavour of it. Okay, Catsup? Alright? I'm trying to be a gentleman back here. Making the popcorn even stickier is just rude. What if someone else wants some? Are they expected to bring along a pair of chopsticks so they can eat it like Japonica rice? Okay? My wandering elbows are under enough scrutiny from the movie theater and their Puritanical rules. There can be cocks all over the screen but if I get mine out suddenly it's a problem.

Wow! Pretty freaking awesome. Visuals where amazing. Story was simple yet worked. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did. Great flick.

One of the best and most cool cinema experiences I've had! You saw it in 3D? If so, some of those scenes like the storm must've been mind blowing. Even not in 3D it must have been something.

There's something about my eyes that makes me not being able to experience 3D, so no, I didn't but as you say it was definitely something anyway!

I haven't seen a movie that was not 3D in a very long time. I guess its the kind of movies I go see that always warrant the effect, kids Lego type/Disney movies, or sci-fi stuff.
I think the last movie I saw that wasn't in 3D may have been Terminator Salvation, and that's going back quite a bit.
I don't go to the cinema too often though, maybe 3-4 times a year.

Hah! I didn't even know they were still doing that 3D movie gimmick! Shut the fuck up you SALTY WHORE. 3D movies are awesome and have improved a lot since you went to the cinema and saw MARVIN AND THE MARTIANS in 3D with your mummy back in 1985 ok?

Woah so not only are 3D movies still a thing, but you people actually choose to see them? Anyway, I saw Life today. Wasn't bad, I enjoyed it.

If I'm paying $15 to see a movie, and for $3 more I can view it in 3D, I'll always go for it. Through The Never in 3D was the sickest thing ever.

My local theater pretty much abandoned 3D films little over a year ago. Maybe 4 or 5 films a year are in 3D, and even then only for a week or two. And that's just fine for me, my eyes never worked well with the shitty gimmick anyway. Besides, 2D is cheaper.

Exact opposite here ffs! haven't seen a non-3d movie in cinema for ages just because the locals think 3D is where it's at. so sick of sitting in front of a shitty blurry and dark screen for 2hrs. it just ruins it for me.

You guys must have shit cinemas. 3D films are so much more immersive. I'm looking forward to seeing Terminator 2 in 3D!

I love The Last Samurai. I love how it captures and presents Meiji-era Japan and samurai culture. I generally enjoy Tom Cruise movies, but not for his acting. He's just in fun movies like Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol, or Collateral, or Edge of Tomorrow, but his performance in The Last Samurai is a rare case of him actually acting, and not just being Tom Cruise in another movie.

Tom Cruise has starred in some truly amazing movies, whether people like him are not. A bunch of mediocre ones as well of course.
Best role ever is by far that of Les Grossman

He was pretty good in War of the Worlds as well, and who can forget his roll in Tropic Thunder.

Risky Business is another classic Cruise movie. But I'm a sucker for most 80's movies.

I can't stand it, and I'm glad it's going the way of the dodo. It adds depth to scenes when used subtly. I could understand your complaint if all the movies that used 3D just used it to make characters jump out of the screen in a cheesy "in your face" kind of way, but they don't. And it's not going the way of the dodo, more new films will be made in 3D and great directors such as James Cameron will continue to do 3D remakes of their old films because they think it's worth it. But what would they know, they're just movie directors.
