It looks shit.
I can't be the only one who thinks that right? Why are people so excited about this?

It looks shit. I can't be the only one who thinks that right? Why are people so excited about this? Right? Vulture looks like Marvel wanted to do another Goblin story, but figured everyone would be bored by Goblin. Like they made Goblin again, slapped the Vulture name on him and said "Look, a totally different villain!" And just by that brief part in the trailer, Keaton comes off more like Osbourne than Vulture. But let's not get started on the real problem with this movie, another high school Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Nobody wants to see that, he ain't even his best as teenage Spider-Man.

I'm just tired of the reboots. It's annoying.

I loved him in Civil War but this new trailer did leave abit of a bad taste in my mouth. I do have faith in them though, it just looks all too familiar now.

Anyone going to see Rogue One in IMAX?
Apparently they are playing a seven minute long Dunkirk preview before the movie.

Well, at least Nolan's trademark awful dialogue can be drowned out by bombs n' such.

Weird film. A bit hard to decipher what the fuck it was all about.

Disappointed that Passengers is getting bad reviews. After seeing the trailer in the cinema I thought it might be awesome.

I just saw the teaser trailer for Blade Runner 2049, loved it, and now I need advice.
Which version of the original Blade Runner should I watch? Which one is the "definitive" edition? As I understand it, there are several versions, which have pretty significant differences. I've seen some version of it years and years ago, but I remember I kept falling asleep while watching and don't have any clue what happened in the film.

That and the Director's Cut are both great though. Just stay away from the Theatrical Cut.

Has anybody seen Passengers? I'm curious if some of the reviews are right in that it's perpetuating rape culture, or if it's just an instance of "Calm down. It's a movie with morally questionable characters." The woman that reviewed it for comic book resources seemed completely beside herself.

Spoilers, in case anyone actually gives a shit about Passenger spoilers: Apparently Christ Pratt wakes Jennifer Lawrence out of cryosleep specifically so that she's forced to spend the rest of her life trapped in a spaceship with him. Pretty weird and creepy, but if the movie isn't actually making him seem like a good guy for doing that I don't think there's much of an issue. I'm not planning on actually paying money to see this shit though.

I re-watched Batman v Superman. This time I watched the Ultimate Edition (which has an half-an-hour extra footage). It kinda is 'all over the place' and hard to understand for non-fans of DC heroes. I like the movie. While it isn't a masterpiece, it is enjoyable.

I watched "Cell" last night. I really loved the book, so I was looking forward to watching this. While the first half of the movie is completely different then the book, it was still quite awesome. The opening part was insane and made me feel anxious in a fun way and there where so many creepy parts.
If you are unfamiliar with the story, it's basically this; In an instant, the world turns to chaos when everyone's cell phone transmits a signal to their brain, turning them into super violent killing machines.
It's on Netflix now, stars John Cusack and Samuel Jackson and was written by Stephen King.

Just because something gets a shit score, doesn't mean YOU might not enjoy it. I liked it, it was a bit stupid, but easy to watch and fun. I didn't go into it expecting Gladiator or Braveheart. I liked it better than Force Awakens.

Guardians of the Galaxy
apart from a couple clumsy-paced scenes, good harmless fun.
Roman Holiday
the ending really elevates it from good, simple romcom to borderline greatness. Today's Hollywood would have ruined it with the mandatory "misunderstanding before reconciliation" bit.
