I'm not sure what the deal is to be fair, but I'm under the impression that it's a different version, darker, none of the silly jokes, I'm not sure it's the same story, or there abouts, but I know it's like 4 hours long. my brother's seen it... I don't think I could invest that amount of time into something I'm not really into. Lord Of The Rings yeah but not DC. though JOKER is an exception.

I haven't seen either version, well maybe a few bits but no it's not a 2nd film. more footage from the first one. Oh. They should say that in the title.

Oh. They should say that in the title. Have you been living under a rock? Yes. The rock could have been a bit bigger and there wasn't a toilet but it could have been worse.

Army of the dead - If Zack Snyder hadn't directed it, I wouldn't have watched. It has a zombie tiger and zombie horse.

Not sure how to take this news ^ I love the movie, I watched it 4 times in theater and i don't remember how many times online, but usually part 2s are mostly not as good as the first ones so i don't want this to be screwed

'A Quiet Place' it didn't live up to the hype that people on the internet gave it but it was ok. the things didn't scare me and I didn't care for any of the characters, so if any were in danger I didn't really care I wonder if the sequel will be better?

Charlie Wilson's War
This is an example of a movie where they could have actually taken MORE liberties with facts and ramped up all the excess and extravagance, to make it all more raucous. It introduces all those elements but then it kind of cools down too quickly with all that archive footage and the bittersweet ending. Phillip Seymour Hoffman kills it.

I've only seen some of it.

Mortal Kombat (2021) Really, really fun. It was pretty much flawless. The addition of the non-game character Cole Young worked surprisingly well. The fight scenes and fatalities were super cool, and the Scorpion - Sub-Zero matchup was awesome. I can't wait for the sequel!

Vacation
A lot better than what you might think! It was funny and really entertaining. I think it definitely can hold a candle to the Chevy Chase classics.

I watched Inside Out with the wife and kids last night. It was about as depressing as a kids movie can get and the overall message was a little unclear. It was still fun and had some great moments but then those moments where overtaken by more sadness and doom. A bit much for the kids under five, best for anxiety filled preteens. It was worth watching, conceptually, it was fresh and original. Destroys that frozen piece of shit called... Frozen any day. Anyone watched Maggie? The Arnold movie where his girl is turning into a Zombie, its on Netflix now and I want to check it out unless its a total waste of time. I recall Inside Out. It had some very good points on how an adolescent girl would process her thoughts. I enjoyed it but I do get the depressing parts you speak of. I felt that way with Up.

Black Widow Enjoyed it. First movie I've seen in a movie theatre in quite a while.
Hot shots! Part deux
More laughs than giggles and yeah, I enjoy this one more than the first one.
