Independence day 2 isn't THAT bad. I think it is entertaining and kind of a logical follow-up (it only makes sence the humans scavaged and use the alien technology). I'll have to give it a second chance. I fell asleep the first time around, not out of boredom, just exhausted when I got around to. Seemed okay at best. Yes, it is okay. |

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot
It was good, some cringe moments, but it knew how to poke fun at itself. The last act is A+. Lots of lame cameos and childish humor, but also some deep thoughts.

Coming 2 America - pretty bad, not cringe bad, but it's not funny and the story is terrible. No reason to ever watch it again. I think I only laughed once.
Bad Boys For Life - better than I thought it would be. Super cheesy but was entertaining.

Throne of Blood
Kurosawa's reimagining of MacBeth. Very theatrical, the star Mifune navigates a very fine line between terrifying and over-acting, but somehow pulls it off and the result is very compelling. Borderline masterpiece.

Silent night, deadly night part 2
I bought a vampire motorcycle
The first one got really "good" towards the ending thanks to the main actor's "amazing" acting skills.
The second one was too long but had some entertaining scenes and obviously a pretty out there theme.

Mortal Kombat
The 2021 version. I thought it was pretty good actually, for what it is. It's not amazing or anything, but the best attempt yet at making a good Mortal Kombat movie. The end fight(s) was not as epic as I had thought it would be. It felt like it was more about setting the scene for a forthcoming second movie than making a full on epic finale. I'm quite bored of MCU style epic end battles by now though, so I didn't really mind.

I've still not watched it, something about it just isn't clicking. you aren't missing much. it doesn't have much of a story, the only reason it did ok was because of Pitt & Di Caprio. put any other actors in those roles and I bet it would've been panned. |

The Mitchells vs the machines: Netflix, animation, hilarious. Watch it with the kids or alone.
Brightbrun: Superman gone bad. Pretty gory.
Thunder Force: more like Thunder Farce.

I watched Kill Bill vol 1 at the weekend, I forgot how good that movie is. Tarantino has a godlike ability to chose a woundtrack.
