Knowing such, is why I quit playing it years ago. Do you know if the main storyline comes to an end? I thought once I fought the dragon it would be over but he flew off to a distant dungeon and I guess I have to fight him again??? I don't want to look up the main story line plot to avoid any spoilers but this game just goes on and on..... Yes, the main story ends. Most sidequests end too but there are a few that keep randomly regenerating (the jobs you get at the inns and the dark brotherhood assassinations).

I did everything there was to do in that game. No more side quest or anything like that. I guess I could download some mods but I think I'll hold off, I want to see what Inside is all about....

I've been playing through the Megadrive/Genesis Sonic games recently. I've never completed them before (and in the case of S3/S&K, never played them). Finished Sonic 2 last night, didn't enjoy it as much as the first. Felt some of the enemy placements were a bit too cheap and there wasn't as much focus on platforming. Still liked it though, the last level was very difficult with one hit = death. Only managed two chaos emeralds (and three in the first game). On to Sonic 3 next, that and S&K are the ones I've been looking forward to most.

Last 4 days have consisted of :
Waking up and going for a 5k run playing Monster Hunter Generations 2:00pm go to the gym with pokemon go on the walk over there 4.00pm Monster Hunter Generations until bedtime
I don't know why I am obsessed with these games, the menu's are annoying, the animations when drinking potions or eating food are very fucking stupid....but I keep playing and buying this time after time.

I'm all over that new 2D Sonic, as long as it feels accurate. New 3D game... no thanks.

Just a few tweaks and that offline Battlefront would be a masterpiece. Normal is a relaxing fun experience, Hard is ruthless, have not tried master, but I imagine it's pretty unforgiving.

I am balls deep on that 2D Sonic game. I wonder when Sonic Team will realize that nobody wants Modern Sonic anymore. All they had to do was bring back classic Sonic and make a game like the classic stages in Sonic Gens.

Where do you start with Dragon's Age? Can I start at 2? Origins is amazing, the second one is alright and doesn't deserve the hate it gets, and Inquisition is great if you don't mind grindy games. Start with the first if you don't mind slow combat.

I'm had one of those Dragon games on my PC for years, never played it. Doubt I'll ever get around to it.

If I recall correctly, there were rumors that's what the Wii U was supposed to be.

Isn't this another console from the "brilliant" mind of Iwata? Growing up as a Sega fanboy this pleases me, watching Nintendo destroy itself the way my beloved Sega did. But then again, Nintendo has the casuals so they'll manage to survive.

NX sounds cool mainly because it means Nintendo's teams only have one platform to focus on. They can't keep supporting two different platforms as both get more complicated and expensive to develop for. By combining both they can ensure strong and consistent first-party support. Imagine if the Wii U had all 3DS games and vice-versa. I imagine that's what their goal is with the new system. This is just a repackaged version of what they already have on the market. It's not good. You can read more about it here.

The NX concept sounds decent; I'd have to know more before a final judgement. Making a console/handheld hybrid is a probably a good idea and Nintendo fans seem happy with it, but I'm not sure how big the market for handhelds is anymore now that everybody has smartphones and tablets. Making a standard high-spec console that is just Nintendo's version of the PS4/Xbox One likely isn't the right path. Historically they've undersold vs the competition (N64, Gamecube), so the right answer on what Nintendo should do is difficult. Combining handheld & console should at the very least make way for stronger software support. And it should be cheap.

Word on the street is it is actually a tablet... The controller parts come off and you dock the tablet to play on the tv... Not sure how true that is. But everything including the you can play mobile games on it, points to something like a shield/Ouya/fire TV type thing.

I'm imagining the bottom-half of a 3DS where the sides can come off and be used as a controller. It sounds strange and I'm not sure how comfortable that sounds, but I'll wait and see how they do it when it's officially revealed. The idea itself is great, I think.

I will wait until I see more of it before I get excited about it. I am a huge Nintendo fanboy and the only console I didn't really care for is the GameCube. I loved the Wii because it has a lot of hidden gems that are top quality games and it was an innovative and fun console.
Wii U I am 50/50 with it. It's exclusives are really top notch games (well 90% of the games are exclusive I guess), also Splatoon and Bayonetta 2 were some of my most played games on the years they were released. It just sounds like Nintendo gave up pretty quickly on it, the gamepad was never fully utilised and most of the annoyances/bugs with the console Nintendo just ignored or never fixed.
