If you own Bioshock 1 and 2 on Steam, you get the upcoming remastered versions for free. (not 3, as 'it meets current gen standards' they say)

Haven't played the original BioShock in years, this is a good excuse to go back to it. I need to pick up BioShock 2 on Steam too to play Minerva's Den again.
Edit: It's £1.90 in the Steam sale lol. Sold.

Sold. I got Bioshock one right at the end of last gen, and as soon as I started playing it I heard that the remaster was coming, so I stopped and waited. I have no idea why it took me so long to pick it up.

Well if you pick up the collection, don't skip 'Minerva's Den' just because it's DLC. It's one of the best pieces of DLC and possibly better than the main game.

BioShock 2 is a bit of a retread. It didn't really do much to differentiate itself from the first game, though some prefer it overall. The DLC Minerva's Den is standalone; different character and story that I don't recall making any reference to the BioShock 2 story so it doesn't matter what order you play it in and it's fantastic.

It's been a few years since I played it, but I'd say about 5 hours.

I loved the first Bioshock but the others I didn't really care for. I'm glad they exist though.

The opening hour of BioShock Infinite is one of my favourite moments in gaming ever. I wish there were more opportunities in it to soak in the atmosphere and imagination put into it, but it defaults to shooter for most of the rest of the game, aside from a couple of other moments that stand out. I also love the Booker/Elizabeth dynamic, even if the story is a mess at times. I kinda wish it was more just an adventure game set in Columbia rather than an emphasis on action.

Are the Uncharted games good? They are among the best story driven games ever imo. UN1 = Great UN2=Masterpiece UN3=Okay UN4=Back to greatness. Its proper indiana jones video game.

Got a like-dislike thing going on with Overwatch. I like the idea, but it doesn't really work all that well. Unless you've got a group of friends who are actually interested in playing as a team it's pot luck as to whether or not you'll get people who are out for themselves. If you do get those people you may as well leave the match.
Then you have to hope you can find a game without it kicking you for not having enough players, and taking 45 minutes to find the next game, which you might also get kicked from or have a shitty 'team'.
The game also kind of lacks variety in game modes and generally feels unpolished.
I'm holding out hope for it to get better as I get better and level up, but that may be wishful thinking. Especially since I can't even be bothered playing it half of the time.

It's on the same tier as Battlefront and Titanfall but doesn't get crucified in the same way because it a Blizzard game.
Piss poor excuse of a game.

Well Blizzard have a good track record of supporting their games for years so I don't see why you wouldn't give them the benefit of the doubt. It's not like all support will just end in 6 months as is the case with a typical AAA shooter. Can't comment on the games current quality though as I've yet to play it.
