Hmh, color me surprised. It seems they might get the album out this year after all. Not complaining. But I sure hope they manage to make it sound decent. The dry, lifeless sound they've been doing since DM is really unbearable.

At what point in the process was death magnetic at when the mission Metallica trailer and videos started. Where they mixing or was it finished by then?
I'm wondering when we will get a little taste of what the album may sound or direction may be like.

They will speak up again when a "catastrouphic" event happens in Metallica land and it's set back. I wonder why they have been so vague. Probably because of fan reactions.
