I honestly don't care whether they conspired or not. The ticket prices are ridiculous either way, and it's not like Metallica hasn't become a silly money train anyway, of slapping the Metallica 'brand' on anything. I think the band themselves checked out a long time ago in these regards, just nod their heads to everything, and it's just their management always looking for the next buck under every rock.

All the bands are probably doing it on the low, those VIP packages are also daylight robbery.

Metallica tickets are way too high scalper or not, the only time I'm likely to see them again is if they are headline at a festival I'm already at. Watching Metallica these days is like paying a maid 50 an hour to wipe your kitchen down with a poo-stained cloth.

Yeah, the last tickets I got where around $180 a piece, plus all the service fees and taxes, ouch.
