It was pretty good, much better than Fart Awakens or Rogue One.
Compared to the originals though haha....you know.

He did his own thing, which was kinda meh, and fucked everyone else over.
So yeah, that's my elaborate review, it was kinda meh.
Mark Hamill was pretty good in it, though. First time I liked him in SW.

Pretty bad. From a storytelling and character development perspective really bad. When I watched it I found it somewhat entertaining though so maybe I can't say it sucks, but after you think about it it's quite bad.

I don't like what Rian Johnson did with Luke  like wtf? Rose annoyed the feck out of me & Las Vegas planet was a waste of 30 minutes of my time. after leaving the cinema it took me awhile to realise, did I just see a Star Wars movie?  cause I'm not feeling like 'yay, that was fun'... at least The Force Awakens is fun. yes, it's A New Hope repackaged but it was leading me somewhere. where is Luke? what happened? why the f*ck has he pissed off to an island? The Last Jedi didn't do anything good with the new characters that TFA introduced us to. it turned Finn into a joke & Poe get's bossed around by a female popstick. Rey's training was a pretty much nothing... a few pebbles lift off the ground. the b*tch doesn't fail and that's the problem. she doesn't have to learn to control the force. Yoda told Luke that he failed to lift his X-Wing because he didn't believe. in Empire you watch Luke learn from his failure. "do or do not, there is no try". Rey never fails at anything she does and I understand why have heard the term "Mary Sue" in so many TLJ reviews/rants. Kylo Ren was never scary but Rian Johnson managed to turn a confused bad guy into a whiny little b*tch that throws a tantrum. |

I thought it was interesting that Finn didn't want to be a Stormtrooper anymore & fled the First Order (Empire). Poe was cool in TFA. I quite liked Rey in TFA, but TLJ I'm like 'meh... they've done nothing with her'. got her to dive in deep water & run along a beach, oh wow |

I think Star Wars is insanely overrated and I've always disliked it since I was a small child. Fuck Star Wars. My 'Star Wars' was shit like Terminator, Alien, and Predator. Thanks Dad.

I can watch 'Alien' 'Aliens' 'Predator' & Terminater 2: Judgement Day' over & over again. do you have T2 in 3D? looks so good, just a shame it's not the directors cut with the extra footage. I love the dream sequence Sarah has with Kyle, such a shame that wasn't included in the cinematic release but I guess it was for time reasons. edit: I'm a 'Lord Of The Rings' fan. I absolutely love those films, Extended Editions of course. especially for 'The Two Towers' & "Return Of The King'. 'The Fellowship Of The Ring' is my favourite movie of all time. imo it's perfect. I've only read the books once but a really great read and I think Peter Jackson did a good job with the trilogy. I just hope if/when it's released on 4K that they do that for the EE films. |
