OH and bunny, wich hetfield do you like? I'll have to watch the video. I didn't start listening to Metallica until 1996 when LOAD was released, so I'm pretty sure it will be an older Het that I like. edit: I like the Load era look, the DM look and also how James looks right now  |

In terms of look, I'd say shortly pre-Load when he was rocking that crank-cook mullet. It wasn't your Marty Stuart coiffed mullet. It was your DGAF, ratty, stumble-out-of-a-West-Virginia-outhouse-ranting-about-the-government mullet. He looked like he should be driving onstage in a 1972 El Camino, with a little pretty scared-looking woman with a black eye in the passenger seat, and then he'd get out, drunkenly pick his way through half the set, replacing most of the lyrics with incoherent slurred cursing and racial epithets, before robbing the front row at gun-point.
But in terms of personality, you've got to love present-day Hetfield. Seems like he's in a really good place these days.
