It was over a few hours with distractions, maybe 90 mins? If I had more time I would've refined a bunch of things but the vibe is there.

But imagine how many people would get upset and tell me I'm the antichrist...
I did a new version (V2 in first post), few tweaks, fixed some drum mis-triggers, bass fatter, a little more kick and guitars slightly more aggressive.

You'd probably be wasting your time anyway, got a feeling that justice remaster is going to be more of a remix when it's released.

Mix is still off. Drums are floating over everything else, vocals are too far in the back, bass is mixed too low, and the guitars have no punch.

I guess we can agree to disagree, I get the feeling we have very different tastes. Cheers though.

It's not really about tastes in as much as it is about properly mixing it. If you got the mix to a more actually mixed state it would make the entire thing sound a lot better.

This is pretty sweet, it's an updated version of Justice for Jason.

When people add their own bass it's really no longer Justice of Jason...

Also, I found this amusing reading back through: It also needs to be mixed and leveled better. It's all over the place. If you have any specific tweaks for 'mixing' and 'levelling' I'd be happy to take your suggestions and try them out. It's interesting, one persons 'the kick is way too loud' is another persons 'I love the punchiness on the kick'. But seriously, negative feedback is cool by me - and if it's specific it can actually be useful.Mix is still off. Drums are floating over everything else, vocals are too far in the back, bass is mixed too low, and the guitars have no punch. I guess we can agree to disagree, I get the feeling we have very different tastes. Cheers though. It's not really about tastes in as much as it is about properly mixing it. I'm surprised that no one every added in Jason's live backup vocals to any of these fails. FIRE! (Speaker blows)
