Holier, Thread and Struggle are very mediocre songs

I've never liked Tread much at all. Holier is pretty good if you ask me though, it's not overlong at all and has a bunch of cool bits in it, like the guitars coming in one by one after the solo.
e: Boy would it have been terrible as the lead single and opener though. Like if they'd stuck to the old Metallica formula and used that as their fast opener and made Misery an instrumental like usual the album would've been noticeably worse off. So glad Lars got his way on the first issue.

Welcome Home is my favorite song ever. GTFO on that.
That's right, I call it Welcome Home, always.

The Black Album and Master of Puppets are both amazing albums to me. I usually listen to each all the way through.
If I was forced to pick songs I like the least, I would choose The Thing That Should Not Be, Holier Than Thou and Don’t Tread On Me. But I still love those songs.

I'm not a super big fan of some of the song on certain albums, but the only one I'd consider skipping songs from is Death Magnetic, I just can't bring myself to listening to Day or Nightmare. Also maaaaaaybe might skip Now That We're Dead from HWTSD.

I don't really skip anything but I barely ever listen to the albums in full so I dunno if it really counts. HTSD is the one exception, there I'll happily skip most of the second disc, apart from the first and last tracks.
Oh and Reload, but then I never ever listen to that album in full anyway.

Difficult to choose a mediocre track on AJFA.
Eye of the Beholder?

Eye of the Beholder, To Live Is To Die or The Frayed Ends of Sanity. All of three have brilliant parts to them, but they all drag so much and are pretty weak songs overall.

Agree on Beholder and Live/Die but to me Frayed is perfect. I wouldn't cut out any single part of it. I even gonna go as far and say that combo straw & frayed > disposable & leper

TLITD has never felt draggy to me but I can see why it could come across like that. Like all 3 of those songs, I just really love them as is, right from those early times listening.
Watching Binge and Purge the other day (thanks yepsure) and was a surprise to hear Jasons solo become the TLITD middle harmony section. I'd forgotten they did that live, and then use that to go into Master.

The amazing breakdown/acoustic interlude saves Live is to Die, i'd say Frayed Ends has a great chorus too.

I've never over thought AJFA or their better albums much. If they are overall great then I just think of it as one piece of goodness.
