Jump In The Fire is mediocre at best. You can tell it was written by Mustaine. I agree with this. It really sounds like Lars once described it, a poor attempt at creating a hit single in the vein of Run to the Hills. Escape is the worse 80s song if you ask me, though. It's just bland and feels pretty mediocre next to basically the rest of the album, not to mention it's also pretty corny with the siren going off in the last part and everything. |

Escape is great. Adds to the diversity of RTL where the songs were all pretty different from each other, but still made sense.

It's the only one I even listen to anymore. So glad it was more or less pro mixed as a single B-side. |
