I think I've gone insane because I just read an I AM THE TABLE joke and decided "lol I'm going to listen to Lulu".
I KIND OF LIKE IT I THINK IM HAVING A STROKE.
I was on the "this sucks but it isn't the worst thing ever" train in 2011 but listening to it now I kind of find it interesting and not bad...Lou Reed sounds awful a lot and they way over play some riffs but...it works to me a bit? Wtf.

I still don't really listen to HWTSD. First time in my life a Metallica album hasn't hooked me. As bad as SA was, it still got a heavy rotation. I'll blast Spit out the Bone here and there, one or two others as well, but that's about it.
I did however, for giggles, put on the album version of LOS the other day and you know what...it's still crap. How could they have cut out the best part of the song and add all these disjointed stops and starts randomly? The very first version was still the best IMO.

I've gotten used to LOS and even put the file in the regular album. I don't get the hate for HW and Atlas. Not the best two to start off an album with but I don't think they are bad songs, or close to their worst.

I was somewhat indifferent towards Carpe Diem Baby for years, but after they busted out the song live at the birthday party, I realized what a fucking killer song it is.

Carpe Diem Baby took a while to grow on me, to be fair, hated it at first, couldn't get past the chorus.
Took a few listens to properly appreciate it.
