Straw man argument. You're saying grunting into a mic is better than out of tune singing. Well duh. James is great in the studio. But live he *should* save his voice. Agreed. That man can't sing I'm sorry. When they play live, I focus more on the instruments.

I prefer his vocals from '91 on.
His early (album-)vocals (though not bad) are the main reason why I rarely listen to MOP i.e. If I want to listen to those songs I prefer live versions.
Best vocals by a million miles are on the Loads.
