Now to see how many lulz we'll have if Mercedes argues Max's pinky measurements tampered with their rear wing

hamilton is winning this, there's zero doubt in my mind anymore. he's a level and half above everyone. incredible.
rosberg in 2016, alonso in 2012, montoya in 2003 levels of belief and drive here but it'll end like the former rather than latter two.

Losail is probably an unknown, but I can't see Jeddah and Abu Bubu not be a Mercedes straight-line speed fest.
Max back to driving like a twat. Nothing was done when he was a rookie, never gonna happen now.

Max back to driving like a twat. Nothing was done when he was a rookie, never gonna happen now. that's part of what makes me certain it's lewis that will win. max isn't strong enough mentally i don't think, fighting for a serious championship is new to him and behaviours that were reinforced his entire life, and have been so far consequence free in formula one, are reappearing.
shocking call not to penalise him today but i am glad that hamilton won with an on track pass, even if it was DRS assisted.

so this explains the "F1" stickers on the, at least premac, ducatis in motog yesterday
providing this is true, of course. very interesting and i wonder what it means for the formula one team and, probably more concerning, the indycar team (unless VW/audi are the 3rd manufacturer we hear about?)

Even with the emergence of Piastri, Pourchaire and to a lesser degree Shwartzman, the sudden cynicism towards Guanyou Zhou seems a tad unwarranted, especially in the light of a few of the meh drivers already on the grid.

what seems quite daft about it to me is that this guy has been on renault's books for a good few years now, having been on ferrari's until he started in formula 2, the guy seems talented enough.
as much as i like giovanazzi, i think his three seasons - after being out of full time racing for two years - have probably shown as far as he can go. in a mclaren, he'd probably get decent results, as it is he's in an alfa and he's scored a handful of points. he might go well outside of formula 1 - look at marcus ericsson, the guy he replaced at sauber, in indycar now - and he definitely should be racing fast cars at a high level but i think that formula 1 has past him by. maybe if sharl or carlos jr catch a cold he'll get a grand prix in a ferrari sometime.

i like this track but i still have no idea how it will race I watched Max's FP1 onboard and I get nothing of it. Also did like 30 laps of Jeddah on the F1 game and it looks pretty shit apart from two deceptive corners.

saudi track looks awful so with your testament also, that's a bit of a sour taste in the mouth. it reminds me of the uruguay formula e circuit and surfers paradise but without the parts that made them fun/good circuits - the long straights into chicanes and technical passages. it looks all flowy and probably a nightmare to follow in these cars.

why is the happening on the morning of the race - palmer spotted it immediately yesterday;why is horner getting away with throwing marshalls under the bus when race direction itself is byzantine and opaque?
and if i can don a tin foil hat, how much is abu dhabi paying to actually get a title decider race? :p

it always goes wrong for valtteri Yep.. Also, opposite day today. Bottas on the 1-stop and Perez the tyre whisperer on two. Max seemed to have not too dissimilar pace to Lewis. All Red Bull had to do was come on the radio and tell Max to lift for the Gasly incident 🤦♂️

Not surprising, Ineos is one of the team owners. Fuck Ineos. Plus, we're doing stuff for them at work and the engravings read "Made in the UK"....right...

Plus, we're doing stuff for them at work and the engravings read "Made in the UK"....right... i'm pretty sure the CEO at ineos is a huge brexit fella as well...so this pretty much confirms how a lot of the right wing of brexit support think - get all of the nice tihngs from europe without any responsibility (or honesty).
bastards.
i lost a job last year because ineos called up and decided that the factory in perth would no longer be producing tests. no reason given and definitely no warning, just that as of that day tests weren't being made or shipped. these people are bastards.

this s*udi track seems excessively dangerous and excessively fun Seems more boring and less of a challenge than in the game. :P The last high speed chicane is a tricky braking area in the game, in real life I can't even notice it at all.

Nope, not at all. Every bit of debris requires a SC, the marshalls are relatively hopeless (normal, I'm not bashing volunteers), Maylander has been driver of the day in both sprints. Apart from two cars running side by side in the banked corner (but in a very safe, unspectacular way) all bits of racing were basically leading car missing T1 or T2, cutting the corner and getting a penalty for gaining an advantage.
