I'm only familiar with Crystal Planet but I enjoy it alot.  I don't think Joe will ever release another album that will be better that CP, it's perfect.
'House Full Of Bullets' the title song, 'Love Thing'  'Raspberry Jam Delta V' 'Trundrumbalind' 'Time'... all 15 songs make up a perfect album.
I really like his last album 'Shockwave Supanova'. my 2nd favourite Satch cd is 'The Extremist' (1991)
that album has amazing songs, the title track is better that 'Surfing With The Alien' imo. |

Joe's released a new song from the album and I'm happy to say it is way better than 'Energy' ^ the bass is just to die for. I'm loving the heavy groove |

That song is actually pretty good. I've seen Joe live 5 times. 2005 (though I didn't have a good spot and the venue had a low stage). 2006 with G3, had a Meet & Greet with Joe after the gig and I gave him a painting. G3 that tour was Joe, Steve Vai & John Petrucci 2008 I bought M&G/Club Joe again and met Joe before the show, got to ask him questions. Club Joe also gave me early entry and as it was all GA (same venue as 2005) I got a rail spot right in front of Joe. 2013 Joe does a Masterclass tour of Australia, it's not a concert but Joe talks about his guitar playing etc. plays some songs with a backing track. 2014 I buy myself a $300 ticket and get to chose the best seat in the house at the Astor Theatre. met Joe before the show and for the 3rd time I request my favourite Satch song 'Love Thing'. still yet to hear it live. the 2014 show was the best concert I've ever been to. I got the watch & listen to my favourite guitarist from the best seat in the house. at the end of the gig Joe hands me 4 guitar picks I give 3 to other fans as I don't want to be greedy. Satch is Not Of This Earth, 61 and still ruling the the guitar world. |

That last vid posted is surprisingly good. fresh sounding from him to these ears that tired of his music to be honest. Flying in a Blue Dream is still right up there for me, and I do like listening to The Extremist still. G3 live album is pretty decent CD too

Flying in a Blue Dream is still right up there for me, and I do like listening to The Extremist still. G3 live album is pretty decent CD too yes I do love Joe! he is the sweetest guy and so talented and dedicated to his music. I've been a fan for 20 years. the only albums I've been disappointed with are 'Super Colossal' & 'Professor Satchafuckilus...' though there are some songs on the 2008 release that I really like. hearing/seeing FIABD live never gets old. it sucks that I have to wait another 2 months for this album arghh! |

Joe is giving us more songs from the new album and so far ' Cherry Blossoms' is my favourite ^ the first song given to us 'Energy'. for me it's kind of meh but after this the songs improve. ^ my favourite of the 5 songs released so far |
