So these two tracks, when the album was fresh seemed like, dare I say? filler... But now it's a staple I'm really digging them both, especially the latter. What says you?

Videos are 2 of the better ones as well. Great songs. Disc 2 rocks, only bummer is Murder One.

Confusion means the most to me. though Dead is my favourite and I think Spit is the best song. the subject matter of PTSD, James lyrics are right on and hit me hard when I first heard them. at first I didn't want to listen to the lyrics "trapped in a memory forever" because I f*cking know what that is like. even though I'm not a veteran, this song really means alot to me

BigBunny, you mention your struggles with PTSD, is it too personal to ask what happened? Don't if it is, but do share if you're comfortable with sharing. I'm really curious.

I'm really curious. no it's not too personal SicJes. I actually have a 'mental health, support thread' on the Judas forum that I started... it's quite busy. my whole life I've had an anxiety disorder but in October 2013 I went through a traumatic event that lasted 13 days. I was admitted to a hospital ER and they misdiagnosed me with serotonin syndrome. what I had was a very bad muscle spasm in my neck that seized, I just needed some magnesium given to me. instead they cold turkeyed me off my anti-depressant (the medication says 'do not stop taking abruptyly'). by doing this the Dr/hospital made me very sick, tremors & shakes. < because of this initial misdiagnosis more mistakes were made by the hospital. now I have PTSD, I hardly leave the house. there are many things that can trigger me, causing me to have what I call an "episode". they are upsetting to have especially in public

Did you get stuck between to rocks in the outback and have to chew your own arm off?

They were among my favorites from the very start. I still think that Here comes revenge is the 3rd best song on the album while Confusion probably is at number 5.

Idk about Confusion but I've loved Here Comes Revenge from the start! I'm hoping to hear it live when they come around these parts on the tour.

Did you get stuck between to rocks in the outback and have to chew your own arm off? no, nothing that dramatic. it was a simple muscle spasm in my neck that seized.

I love both songs. Confusion is really fun to play on guitar. My guitars have been in storage for 8 bloody months... I would store my guitars too if they were pink

Two of my initial favourites, still like them now. Great riffage in both.

Confusion was the biggest grower on the album for me for sure. At first it was the one song I picked out as "ehhh" on the first few listens, but now it's a disc 2 highlight.
Revenge on the other hand... I still don't like it. The verses are really cool, but not anything we've never heard before, and the choruses are straight cheese. Plus even though I have very little complaints about Lars on HWTSD, the few I have are mostly from this song. The 8 beat snare roll before the second chorus KILLS me. RAAAVEEENGE.

Like them both. Confusion is one of my favourites from the entire album. It's classic Hetfield riffage.

Confusion is good. Revenge I don't like, I find it quite boring to be honest.

They're both fine, but nothing special. I don't skip them, but they're not my go-to songs, either. Both have some good parts for sure, for example the marching intro to Confusion, and the wailing, siren-like guitar thing in Revenge.
I did absolutely love the video for Revenge, though.
